Nice quiet place, host was helpful especially when we locked ourselves out. Only thing we would suggest is he put a small bench in entry, so we could easily take off and put on shoes.
Very comfortable and clean. Owner had lots of extra touches to make stay enjoyable. The full kitchen was really nice as we made Thanksgiving dinner. View was spectacular.
Rob was a fantastic host. His home was very clean and comfortable. The back porch, flowers, and view were a highlight! Would love to go back again some day!

Karen was a delightful guest using impeccible concern to take care of my home during the stay. Thanks for the special touch. You are welcome here, anytime!
Everything was great. There is a great viewpoint for sunrise 3 miles away, Jonsrud Viewpoint, We used this as a basecamp to hike at Columbia River Gorge...
Very nice and spacious! A warm, homey feel. Nicely furnished. Beautiful view from the backyard—could see Mt. Hood. The owner was friendly and responsive.
Very nice home and host. Loved the almost rural, but convenient, setting and a stunning view of Mt. Hood. Toured the area of the Columbia River and Pacific Coast Highway.
Definitely returning!
Rob’s home is in a gorgeous spot in Oregon, away from the hustle of the city but only 30” from the airport. We were with our adult son and found the home perfect for our needs. Rob is a very responsive owner. We’d recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.
Thanks Rob for the great stay. We’d love to stay again later in the summer if you decide to add AC to the property. It got a little warm on a few of the 80 degree days. Other than that it was a great property. Thanks again.
House is nice, but could use some upgrades. We had issues with the older ceiling fans in both bedrooms. The chain pull switches were hanging up on both rooms for the fans and they could not be turned on.The only air conditioning in the house was a small window unit in the kitchen. If your trip is during warm periods you will be hot. We were especially at a detriment because the house would get hot because we could not open the windows because of the wildfires. Even when it was safe to open the windows it was hot in the house until late in the evening. Naps during the day are hot and the house didn’t cool down with the windows open until about 10 PM.The home is not advertised as having a/c, and made me realize this is a possibility and I will be checking closer on future rentals.I would recommend the owner adding a/c.
Serene and Peaceful Property. Beautiful Home with everything you need to start off your stay. Country Fields, Wildlife Visits, Gorgeous Flowers. Perfect view of Mt. Hood. The Snow changes color as the sunsets from the Large back porch. Enjoyed the Hot Tub. Robes and Towels were provided. Rob, the owner, is a Wonderful, Sweet Man who takes pride in his family home and puts your happiest as priority.I give this review a 10 out of 10.
This house is perfect! It had everything we needed for our family of four, from the spaces to the linens to the kitchenware. We enjoyed the cozy fireplace and hot tub during our December stay. The view of Mt. Hood is spectacular, and we highly recommend waking up early to catch the view at sunrise! The kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials, and the appliances are updated and easy to use. Rob was wonderful! He was attentive to our needs and communicated quickly. Best of all, he went the extra mile to make our Christmas away from home feel special. He decorated the house with lights and festive decor, which was unexpected and very much appreciated by our kids and us. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again!
Overall experience was good and as anticipated. Photos reflected the spaces but didnt realize that there was a level that was not part of the rental . Not a big deal it was just a supprize. Unusually hot weather made the bedrooms a little too warm in the day but opening the windows cooled them down at night.
Great home and great host! Great communication before check in to make sure everything went smoothly. Great indoor and outdoor space, very comfy living area with large tv and well stocked kitchen (including a blender, coffee maker and keurig (with some pods)). The outdoor patio was huge (and covered in case of rain) and the hot tub was great. When the clouds cooperate, great view of Mt Hood. If you are going to the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood area, this house is in a great location. The area around is also very peaceful and pretty with lots of local areas to hike not too far.
