Nanas River House - Weeki Wachee River - Pet Friendly, Kayaks, Kids Watermat!

Welcome to our river. This 5-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Weeki Wachee vacation rental sits on a dead-end street right off the famous river. Launch right from the private dock or simply watch the manatees float by. The home is equipped with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable, including a peaceful location, great views of the river, and provided kayaks to explore the water. At the end of the day, return home to enjoy a cold drink on the private deck and kick back with loved ones!

We also supply lots of board games for evening entertainment. Toys for the River include 2 children`s kayaks, 12 single adult kayaks, 1 canoe . The Marina is walking distance, and you can also rent a small John Boat. More pictures and a video on Our FB page Nana`s Weeki Wachee River house. Must be 25 years or older to book.

You will have access to the whole house, as well as a large backyard with a charcoal grill. ( We ask that you keep it clean please) We have a large dock with plenty of sitting areas to view the beautiful river. The house is a stone`s throw from the main river, one little turn and you`re there. We are located on a dead- end street, surrounded by woods. The location is very quiet.

Roger`s Park is so close you can see it from the dock, It`s our river beach. You can swim in the river, or launch a boat. There is one restaurant within walking distance. (UPPER DECK) Weeki Wachee marina is within walking distance - where you can rent a small river boat, kayaks, and buy souvenirs. There`s also a nice ocean beach, just a short drive away called Pine Island. You can put your feet in the sand, and watch a beautiful sunset! OUTDOOR LIVING: private boat dock, kayaks, canoe, life jackets & paddles, charcoal grill, beach towels, outdoor swing, private balcony with outdoor seating.

Only 4 cars are allowed in the driveway unless approved in advance. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE: Roger`s Park :(0.4 miles). Weeki Wachee State Park -home of live mermaids (6 miles). Linda Peterson Park: (0.1 miles). Anclote Key Preserve State Park: (34 miles). SANDY BEACHES: Pine island: (6miles). DEEP SEA FISHING: Thunder Party Boat: (3 miles). Angling Adventures: (3 miles). Fishdaddy Charter: (3 miles). TAMPA DAY TRIP: (~55 miles) Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, Adventure Island, Lowry Park Zoo, Tampa Museum of Art, The Florida Aquarium. AIRPORTS: Tampa International Airport: (52 miles), St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport: (64 miles).

Great Getaway

Amazing stay!! This home is perfectly located and very family / kid friendly. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including a coffee bar! The outside is beautiful with plenty of kayaks, swing set and even tetherball! The beds were very comfortable. We were 5 adults and 5 kids with plenty of room. The host Kelly was informative, helpful and polite! We enjoyed staying here.

We love staying at this property. It has enough bedrooms for all of us and the kayaking is amazing. The house is fully updated plenty of kayaks. I can bring my little Dixie with me always clean and they have plenty of supplies. Thank you so much. We’ll be back.

Our family of 7 had a great stay at Nana's! Plenty of space to relax indoors and outdoors, comfy beds, a fully stocked home with everything you'll need. The house is in a quiet area with no neighbors on one side. Plenty of boats to paddle the river and my 10 year old loved hanging out in the kid cave and playing on the water mat. The hosts were very communicative, the whole process was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location! Plenty of room to enjoy a family vacation.

We had a wonderful stay here with my family! The location is perfect. We enjoyed being slightly off the main river, but still very close. Everyone enjoyed kayaking and sitting on the dock. My son loved the lily pad. A manatee swam right up to our dock one evening! A few things around the home and the dock are showing wear and need some tending to, but overall we had a fantastic three-night stay and we would definitely love to return!

Get away extended family vacation 8 adults 3 kids 2 dogs

Wonderful stay for our families get away. Plenty of room and bedrooms. Good size yard. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Everything you needed for cooking big meals, kayaks and canoes and water mat were so fun. Seen manatees from the backyard and in canoe trips. We rented a boat for a day, great prices. Also went to see the Mermaids very inexpensive and fun I think it was only 10 min away. We had a great time even with a lot of family. House was big enough everyone had private time.

Nana’s river house

Nana’s river house was great ! The house was as described, clean and had so many thoughtful extras we didn’t expect. We had two small children with us the house had lots of toys and books to keep them occupied. The hosts checked on us to make sure everything was good and if we needed anything, we will definitely book again my family loved it!

Labor Day weekend

We had a great time at the river house. The house was nice and plenty of space for all of us. Only a short paddle to the main river. We swam right off the dock. Would definitely go back!

Expectations Exceeded

Blown away by location. This property has an exceptional location. If you’re looking for privacy and peace and quiet- this is the place. There were 10 of us and it never felt like we were crowded. Memorial Day weekend on the river and the crowds were as expected. We had so much fun!! Communication with the hosts was great from booking through departure. This place is a hidden gem. Manatees and Dolphins pass by the dock and we had a nightly visit from Mr Owl. Kelly and Dave were wonderful and we will make a return visit. Fantastic place.

Girls weekend getaway

With a big group I was nervous about finding a place for us all to stay, but this house was perfect! The location on the corner lot provided a huge outdoor space that you normally don't get with a river house. It was extremely kid friendly with toys inside and out, even had kid life jackets for when we took the kayaks out! We had such a a great weekend and had no problems at all. The hosts reached out several times to make sure everything was ok and to see if there was anything we needed. The house was clean and has all the information you could need about the surrounding area in a binder next to the front door that we found super helpful!

Amazing weekend at Nana's River House!

Absolutely loved the property at Nana's River House! We had 8 adults, 2 children, and 2 dogs. It was a perfect house that fit everyone comfortably. Each couple/family had a bedroom. The living room and dining room were great gathering places. The children loved the little nook under the stairs! The amount of river frontage is phenomenal. This property is off the main drag of Weeki Wachie River, which is really great for everyone and the dogs. We were able to hang out and swim right off the dock without having other kayakers or boaters get too close to us. There were a plethora of kayaks to choose from as well as a super large floating mat that we all enjoyed laying on in the water. Overall, this was a great weekend and this house was just perfect for us. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in Weeki Wachee!

Family get away for Easter

This home was everything we needed for my family for 5 nights. 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs and 1/2 bath down stairs. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Including a crock pot . Which came in handy 2 different nights for us. The floating dock is where we spent most of our time. This property has numerous kayaks & a canoe to use , plus a huge swim mat that my grandchildren totally enjoyed daily. This property is on a dead end street, and has a large grassy area where we hid over 175 plastic Easter Eggs for my grandchildren. We cooked out on the charcoal grill a couple times & went kayaking daily. The marina is up the street and they have an ice machine & small gift shop we went to a few times. Rogers park is within walking distance Perfect location right off the main river. Definitely would stay here again .

We had the perfect amount of rooms & bed sizes for 3 couples, 7 kids. The house was very well stocked, which was a pleasant suprise. Everywhere else we have ever stayed, they have a little of everything to get you started until you can get to the store. Here, there was more than enough for everyone, for our entire 6 day stay! (Toilet papaer, paper towels, laundry det., etc...) The kayak selection was nice also. It is June, so we got to see many animals right from the dock. We saw manatees, dolphins, otters & the kids caught some small fish. It was nice having the grassy lot next door. We took our cornhole boards & the dogs loved having the space to run. The location was awesome as well. The marina down the road had a nice gift shop, the "Upper Deck" restaurant had great food & view. The older kids even went down there just after dark on the kayaks to bring back some chocolate cake! We took the kids to Weeki Watchee & there were several grocery stores close by. We pent one day at Rogers Park, that was super close, to allow the younger kids to enjoy the shallow, clear water.This was also the first time the property managers text me a day in & asked if there was anything we needed. It was a great stay & we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!(The link below would work to add photos.)
