Best 2-Bedroom Condo In The Village At Mammoth!

This 2-bedroom condo is located on the top floor of Lincoln House, overlooking the central courtyard of the Village at Mammoth, and located just a few steps from the Village Gondola. As well, shops, restaurants, the Village pool, Jacuzzis, and the fitness centers are also just a few steps away. The large balcony offers breathtaking views of the main Village courtyard, and Sherwin mountain range with its dramatic sunsets. This upscale condo is beautifully furnished, and features a full kitchen and 2 full bathrooms, all with granite countertops. The master bedroom features a King size bed, the guest room a queen size bed, and the living room has a queen sleeper sofa (condo sleeps up to 6). There are 3 flat screen TVs, and 3 DVD players. Heating is electric as well as a gas fireplace in the living room. This unit has its free WiFi internet access. No smoking is allowed. There is a reserved ski and snowboard locker in the lobby area (please bring a padlock). Please note that skis, snowboards and bicycles are not allowed in the unit, as they scratch the walls). Sorry, pets are not allowed. One parking pass is provided for unassigned underground parking in the Village (there is no option for a second parking pass, due to the Village parking restrictions). Convenient shuttle buses stop by the Village, and can take you virtually anywhere in town. Rates listed here are guaranteed to be at least 10% lower than you would find if you booked directly through the mountain, and this condo is arguably the best 2-bedroom condo in the Village. Everything was great but if you want to make it better put in better lighting in the bath rooms and change the master bedroom shower head.This in no way would stop me from staying here.The accommodations are excellent the balcony above the village was awesome.

Hi Tony. Thanks for your suggestions. Both bathrooms are slated for a complete remodel in the near future. Access to remodeling in Mammoth is very limited due to the small number of contractors and the wait for such a project is over a year. Hope to have that done before your next stay. :-)

Check-in great. Not enough key cards, this was an issue. I received a boot citation because they didn't look at the dash where I was instructed to put it. The boot wasn't there thank god but the citation was saying they had my license. Not sure what that means. But all in all a good stay minus those headaches.

The previous renters only returned 1 of the 3 keycards, so apologies for the headache in you having to pick up the extra ones at the front desk. You do not have to worry about the nastigram citation. They place them there to prevent unregistered folks from parking in the Village. They should have seen the parking permit you had on the dash, not sure how they missed that. Marc purchased this beautiful unit in 2001, 2 years before construction of the Village at Mammoth was completed. Being from Montreal, and having seen Intrawest build Whistler, as well as turn Mont Tremblant into a world-class resort, Marc jumped in early and was no. 5 on the list to buy at the Village. He was able to get his first choice, a large 2-bedroom unit located on the top floor, and facing the central courtyard and gondola, and office breathtaking views of the Sherwin mountains. He has never looked back since, and continues to enjoy it personally all year long. Marc is proud of his condo, and is looking forward to sharing it with you.

Why they chose this property

Marc has been going to Mammoth ever since moving to Los Angeles in 1997. Having worked part-time as a physician in Mammoth Lakes since 1999, Dr. Marc decided to invest in the Village as soon as he heard about the project. He has been working in Mammoth since 2002, and was the 4th purchaser when the Village at Mammoth was just an idea (in 2001). The condo closed in 2003, and Marc and his family have been traveling to Mammoth ever since. Marc has been on the Village association boards since 2012, and has been board president since 2019. Having been able to combine work, with family life and relaxation in such a pristine setting has been very rewarding experience throughout the years.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location. This condo is arguably the best located 2-bedroom condo in the entire Village. Every window gives a view of the Village as well as the mountains. The balcony is large, with views of both the central courtyard of the Village, the Village Gondola, as well as the majestic Sherwin mountain range. The sun sets over these mountains, and can often be ethereal. The condo is outfitted with WiFi, as well as free long-distance calling anywhere in the US and Canada. It is also very family friendly.
