So much potential yet such a failure of a property
Warning! This property is not as described And the host is unresponsive and argumentative.. While this is a cute little house with a great living room, the amenities were not listed accurately. It is listed as a three bedroom house with two queen beds and a futon. One of the bedrooms is actually actually unusable and has exposed electrical outlets and broken drywall with futon. The hot tub listed in the description does not exist. There were no towels washcloths or any additional linens.
The worst part of the stay was the communication with the host. There was no Wi-Fi information provided no information about how to operate any of the electronics or any information to help us feel at home. He also did not respond to my messages about having no bath towels, as if it was not important to him.
Upon arrival Thursday night, I notified the host within an hour that the air conditioner was not working. The next morning, I let him know that it still was not working and with the temperature in the high 80s it was pretty unbearable. After two days of sweltering heat and sleepless night and no towels to take a shower he still has not had anybody come out to fix it. We packed up early and left and won’t be back. He refuses to accept responsibility for our less than desirable stay.
We ended up having to pay for a hotel for the rest of our trip and requested a refund.
