The best stay in Grand Marais! This gorgeous remodeled home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a king sized bed and attached full master bathroom. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are located upstairs with the front bedroom offering views of Lake Superior. Second full bathroom is also located on the main floor. Stackable washer and dryer provide the option to not have to pack super heavy.

The kitchen is a chefs (or general foodies) dream! Laid out impeccably with all you could hope for. From double ovens, long granite countertops and all the baking and cooking needs provided! Plus lots of additional cooking appliances.

The beach is steps away via the Donahue Forest staircase. A jaunt down the street lands you at the Dream Machine Coffee stop and gift shop, a block away from that and you are on Main Street aka Lake Avenue. This home has a beautiful backyard deck to host all your UP family adventures and years of memories to come.

The location of Le Chalet couldn’t be more convenient as a central hub to enjoy the Eastern UP. We loved walking to the lake (1 minute) and the sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The property is very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The campground across the street was very quiet and not an issue at all. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful location so close to town and the beach. Quite possibly the best VRBO rental I have ever had for kitchen utensils. Great beds and large fluffy towels in the bathroom. Loved the fire pit but spent to much time rock hunting. Very quiet even over the busy fourth holiday. Great communication throughout our trip. Amazing finding a rental with 2 bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again. I wish we were staying longer.

The house was one of the most thoughtfully stocked homes we've ever stayed at. The kitchen was absolutely the most stocked we've ever had, and it made being on vacation w 2 littles soooo much easier! House is beautiful & the photos don't do it justice. We could hear the waves from the front porch. We absolutely will be back!

Lovely Vacation Home

Lovely vacation home. Close to town, pictured rocks and the beach. Nicely decorated and has everything you could want. Comfortable beds and just perfect all around. Will definitely book here again. Enjoyed our time in this amazing place.

Wonderful slice of paradise

It was a beautiful home with comfortable bedrooms and and an absolutely gorgeous kitchen! The house was stocked with pantry and cleaning basics which was a huge plus! We loved having the beach so close and wished we could have stayed longer!

2nd Return visit staying here! Loved it so much the first time had to come back, loved the home and location- just a short walk across the street to Lake Superior, beautiful beach and sunsets!!!Enjoyed the fire pit - well stocked with firewood - perfect place to unwind and soak in nature all around - cute lil downtown within walking distance to restaurants!

Trail Riding

Host was great to work with! VRBO was clean & well stocked with towels, dishes. VRBO had easy access to trails for SXS riding. Woulrecommend this VRBo.

What a July 4th!

We had a wonderful stay at The Chalet and highly recommend it. It is walkable to beach, town, not to mention abuts the Pictured Rocks Nat’l Lakeshore. Happened to be in town for 7/4 and the town throws a great, day-long celebration. The house itself is comfortable, well-appointed and spacious inside with two decks outside for lounging. The kitchen is excellent and we made many good meals while there.

Good location to Picture Rock National Park

This was our first time to the area and about 1 mile from Sable falls. Enjoyed going over to Munising and exploring the area. The place was very clean and the lake was across the street in the campground which was very nice. The owner communicated with us during the stay which was helpful as the power was shut off for 8 hours but there was luckily a generator. Definitely would stay here again

A well appointed cottage and a good stopping off point

We had a short stay here in the midst of our Mackinac and U.P. trip. It was a great stopping off point for visiting the nearby waterfalls and the Pictured Rocks lakeshore. The cottage was very comfortable for our family of 4. Everything seems recently renovated and the kitchen was especially nice for the few meals that we ate in. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Peaceful Vacation

Our family really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect for our family getaway. This home was very clean. The host always responded to questions quickly. The beaches were beautiful. Just an hour drive to Pictured Rock Cruises. Sable Falls was very close. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we were to come back to the area.

Great location

This property is just as listed. It is very nicely decorated with everything you need. We spent time down in the town, over on the lake shore all within walking distance of the house. The neighborhood is quiet even with the camp ground directly across the street. We would highly recommend this property.
