Everything was great; house, location…really appreciated that we were able to use what previous renters had left behind; ketchup, spices…also appreciated filtered water dispenser in refrigerator
This is the 3rd time we've stayed here. The house & property are great - very spacious! They continue to make little improvements/update the house every time we come. We will definitely look to book again next year :)
I stayed here with my family and 2 of my friends. The home was lovely and in a great location. The entire home was well stocked and we couldn't have asked for a more well equipped kitchen. We had a couple of questions when we first checked in and the owners immediately responded.......they truly were great. They also gave us some additional suggestions of things to do as well as hiking trails. We frequently walked into town for dinner and there was an ice cream shop less than 5 minutes away. We took day trips to Saugatuck which was beautiful and we also visited a couple wineries. I highly recommend this home.
We love coming to this property because of the location and the way the house is set up. Great for multiple families because there are distinct and separated areas. You can also walk to many great restaurants/bars/shopping, etc. The front porch needs a little love, but still a nice place to enjoy the weather! While we still miss a bathroom for the second floor, we loved the updated main bathroom!! We will be back
Nice little home and was perfect for us for our short stay in New Buffalo. House is well equipped with items needed. Check in and out process was easy. Was clean and close to downtown.
Nice place in easy walking distance of most things.
The owner was easy to coordinate with and responsive. The house is older but they have made some nice updates. In a good location and easy walks to downtown, Oinks and Jackie's. Would recommend staying there and would stay there again.
2 families stayed with a total of 9 people. Plenty of rooms to spread out in but also, big enough space to all be together as a group too. The bedrooms are big and the location is within walking distance (or short drive) to many restaurants and shops.
The owners were very considerate and had great communication. The house was very clean and comfortable. All ten of us stayed easily. It was a very easy walk to the shops and some dining. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area!
Nice house, cozy, and with plenty of room, good for large families and kids, and the screened in porch, and fenced backyard were nice also. Close to town, short drive to the beach. Had a Great stay!
What an awesome stay! The house is spacious and very comfortable. Perfect jumping off point for adventures in the Southwest corner of Michigan.

Very cozy and homey.
The house was very nice we enjoyed staying there. Very well stocked kitchen. A couple things did not work, like the light in the backyard, the faucet in the front bathroom had hardly any water pressure. A mirror and more hocks would have been nice in the upstairs bedroom as well as some fans. Especially since there are only 2 bathrooms for 10 people.
Outside seating was a little short as well as chairs to take to the beach.
We also had dirty grease pans in the oven.
The distance to the beach was farther then advertised online. Also we did not have a not very friendly welcome from the lady next door that informed us that the dog is not allowed outside because of her son having autism, but after clarification she did not complain again and Lewis our dog loved the backyard.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and would consider staying at your lovely home again if you would have us.
Thank you so much hopefully we where good house guests.
Nicole
We loved the way this house had a lot of separate areas! The attention to detail in painting and decorating made it a very charming home. The hanging chairs on the screened in porch were a favorite!

Good location
There was plenty of room for us 6 ladies (over 60), though the bunk beds were not really good for adults. We could walk to many places and enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch.
No surprises. All as advertised and more. Short walk to shopping, Oinks ice cream, and Jackie's for breakfast. We had a great time and enjoyed screened porch with swings. And large master bedroom. Ample rooms inside to nap while others enjoyed a game of cards. And guitar on the wall was a welcome surprise.

Beware
The house, location, and accommodations were good and Lindsey, who helped us book was nice to work with. Our stay took a turn for the worse, however, when towards the end of our week, a rude, loud awakening occurred when a man let himself in to the house in the morning, claiming he was the owner and demanding that we were to leave immediately due to neighbor complaints from the night before. The evening before, we did have an outdoor movie playing from a projector . A neighbor came over that night asking us to turn it down and we did immediately, we were unaware of any other problems. The audacity of this man to barge in unannounced was completely uncalled for, and likely illegal, especially as he scared my granddaughter who was sleeping on the couch. He threatened to call the police if we didn’t vacate the premises immediately, which we informed him that he would have to do, as we were not leaving before our paid time was over. He stood outside talking to the neighbors for over an hour before the police stopped by. The police did not even come in to speak to us before leaving. The man came back to the house and was still completely rude to threaten us that if we caused any more problems we would then need to leave immediately later. The rest of our stay was uneventful and Lindsey did not respond to our concerns regarding this interaction. We will definitely will not be back and want everyone to be aware of this incident. So unfortunate, as the house and location were great, but not worth the hassle of dealing with whoever this man was.
We really enjoyed the house. It had all that we needed and felt like we were staying at a friend’s home. The yard was great for our dog and the location is in walking distance of all of New Buffalo’s prime locations.
Hello Travelers,
This house was a very lovely suprise. It is laid out very spacious & cozy. The themed decor really matches the area and the house era well.
The bedding is AMAZING!
Some notes: There is a coffee pot, but no Kuerig, only one 9 X 13 pan & No crock pot. All other kitchen amenities are plentiful.
Tolietries are very plentiful.
Strange Neighbor Note: On our 3rd night, about 6pm, The neighbor (We called her "Gladis Cravits") walked in the fenced back yard (uninvited), in her pajamas & slippers, and stated she was afraid that my dog might bark. She stated she was worried my dog might bark. My dog had not barked (does not bark) or chimmed in with the other neighbor baarking dogs in 3 days, but she was worried the dog might bark. We also had a daily evening fire in the firepit in the specified area of the backyard. She was worried her house was going to catch on fire. I am not sure why she doesn't know firepits are made for fires - (I am a helper by nature, so had already picked up all the sticks in the yard, swept misc stickes from under the firepit & shoveled all the ashed out). She is interesting! Nosey & Lonely!
