Got a chance to show my wife’s family the mean streets of Franklin where I grew up. Nice getaway cabin exactly as described. Had a great weekend stay and look forward to next time!
Wanted a quiet stay in the woods within 30-40 min from nearby attractions and Nashville. Loved being close to many great areas but able to relax in a scenic yard with a pond, beautiful woods, back deck and covered front porch. Close enough to fun but far enough to relax.
We had a great time despite a plumbing issue that was handling so quickly! Host was very quick to respond to questions and concerns. Had it been drier we would’ve used the outdoor fire pit!
Charming rustic cabin decor. Amazing ceiling to floor rock fireplace. Host was very responsive and helpful. Note the code is for the side door not the front door.
The property has a large yard all the way around the house, with woods going up the hill. We watch the deer each morning and the birds during the day. The house was clean and nicely appointed. Plenty of room and two great outdoor porches. We walked around the neighborhood and enjoyed the local towns and Nashville.
Property is in a quiet location. Property is clean, spacious, and carmen. Property owner was easy to contact with questions and responded quickly. I would encourage anybody to go for a nice walk and enjoy the wind and whispers.
Great place! The wildlife was very nice! House was clean and had most everything that you would need! Host was very prompt in answering any questions we had. Great location to go into Nashville or Spring Hill! We would go back!!
This has been our best VRBO experience yet! The owner was super easy to contact and quick to respond. The beds were comfortable especially after long days at the softball field! Our girls loved the land and wildlife! We will definitely book this house again if we come back to town!
we had a very peaceful and quiet day. We were looking for something in that lane and we were not disappointed at any step of the way we also enjoyed the isolation and the distance from big city centers. We would be happy to do this location again if given the opportunity.
I don’t recommend turning the TV on. The porch area, outdoor walking trail and property are plenty for a peaceful stay. Our furbaby loved the pond and outdoors so much. Thankful this property was available and away from the city!
The booking & communication was great. Quiet neighborhood. The only thing we didn’t care for was that it smelled moldy when we walked in. Had to get some of our own cleaning supplies to wipe things down. Pieces of hair in sinks & dog hair on furniture.

Girlfriends getaway
The property needs some perking up and some general maintenance (well water has caused a lot of calcium build up around sinks and major build up in the dishwasher which is a bit concerning) faucets could be replaced or a deep cleaning of all. Owner had cleaning supplies stored under all the sinks (could be a danger if small kids were present) and too many personal items in the laundry storage (could even be placed in storage totes and put on shelves) which makes a guest feel like they are invading personal space. It has a great fireplace but appears to be only for looks. Would be nice to have gas logs as an option. Communication with the owner was great and the property has a lot of potential.
We were extremely comfortable in the cozy cabin. We were in town for a family reunion at Henry Horton and it was an easy ride just 20 min away or so. We were a party of two friends with our small kids and they had a blast running around inside and out. The beds were sincerely comfortable with cozy linens. The living room had lots seating and every window had a lovely view. It was way too hot to hang out outdoors but would have been adorable. We were so thankful for the AC working like a charm. The only thing we wished for were dressers in the rooms, although there were lots of hangers in the closets. To really make this the ultimate kid friendly space, adding a high chair and crib or pack-and-play (maybe a changing table?) would be amazing. We really had a very lovely stay, no complaints. Very country!
This was the first time we have stayed in TN and really loved the location. We were going to see a show at the Amphitheater about 15 minutes away, and visit Nashville and we had a dog in tote so we thought this was the best location and way better than a hotel rental. This cabin has a great old feel, clean, great yard to play with our dog, and in a very peaceful area. I loved having the string lights outside by the woods when we went out with the dog and felt safe at night. I personally had a hard time getting the access code information because I didnt realize it was buried in the chat feature when you select "message the host". Took me a little while to locate the passcode, so reached out to the host via phone number but sadly did not reach them. They however did message me back right away when I let them know I was able to find the code. I am not sure how this site works for other hosts but seems like that info could be in a different location that is more obvious to find. But maybe Im just inexperienced ;) Thank you for the stay!
We came in town to visit friends and love finding rentals in the area to try out. A little bummed with only 1 TV and 5 kids but no biggie. In all the house was perfect size and clean. The appliances are older but functioning. I had to remind my teenagers its a cabin, not a new build house so it has some quirks.
Absolutely amazing! Beautiful cabin and the location is peaceful and quiet. Close enough to town if we needed anything but far enough away to enjoy the country. I would recommend this to anyone for a quick get away!!!!
