Everything was great swimming pool was not as heated but overall great stay except we lost our keys and asked for 30 min to a hour late checkout and ended up paying 60 dollars for late checkout so we could wait for the locksmith i have stayed in multiple places and never asked to pay but overall the place was great

Great Location, Great Property

Overall we had a 5 star stay here. The kitchen could have had more items, however, we made it work. We loved the location of the property and how easy it was to get to the beach and local places. We would stay here again!

Best place to stay for a family beach getaway!

We loved our stay. The location was perfect! We were literally a short walk away from the beach and a short drive from Mustang Island State Park (beach with park amenities). The fenced patio was the cherry on top, because it allowed us to enjoy the early morning and sunset air in privacy.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked the unit. The two large windows in the living room could use some window coverings. There is a bad glare in the afternoon. The front doorknob is very to open. I actually got stuck in the unit and had to wait for my husband to return and open the door from the outside. The unit we rented is an end unit and happens to be right next to two large dumpsters. Would be nice if they were hidden behind a privacy fence.

It is a short 5 min walk to the beach and I took advantage of that every day to walk my dog. The condo itself was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the amount of light in the condo even on a cloudy day...the skylight windows were amazing. The only criticism is some of the pots/pans were terrible and unuseable; fortunately I had brought my own. The fenced in back yard was stoned and had plastic chairs...we didn't use it. If the chairs had been better, we might have sat out there. Also the front faucet lacked a hose and was difficult to use. There is a pool to use but the weather wasn't warm enough for me to take advantage. If I come back to Padre Island, this is where I would want to stay.

Great location

Overall it was a very nice place. Check in was frustrating. As the code didn’t work. Took a lil bit to get a hold of the manager. So we left to go get groceries. Came back and manager gave me new code. Code still did not work. But the door was opened by a lady and her kid. I thought it had been double booked. Checked back with manager. That then told me that there was duplicate #’s for both sides of the facility? So after about 3hrs of running around we finally got in our condo. It was very nice. And even better that we had a little back yard to lounge in. A small water hose would be good for the spickets to make it easier to wash stuff off, and the rocks could have been raked and grass removed but we ended up doing it ourselves. Overall. Nice place.

Nice Decor/ Near 2 Dumpsters

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was OK. We took a last minute trip and I suspected this was the unit nearest the dumpsters, but being the only unit available in this complex for the time period, we took it. On the plus side the complex is relatively new and it is easy in and out. We were also there on a quiet, cool windy 4 day stretch . As there are 2 dumpsters 20-30 feet away from the front door and a third about 50 feet away- fortunately the wind was mostly blowing away from the unit and being quiet, the dumpsters weren't overflowing. Some door and floor mats (front and rear) would be nice , short hoses and a few more glasses and containers in the kitchen. Relative to Padre Escapes - we have rented with them multiple times for 10-15 years and I don't like having to give a Driver License to their third party processor software every time I check in. Each one is just another opportunity for a data hack.
