Loved this house and the atmosphere. We loved the fact it was in the country and still only about 15 minutes away from stores and restaurants. The host Tracy was excellent. We arrived late at night and received a message that she turned some lights on for us. The house was very spacious and perfect for our family. Everything about it was perfect. Even though we never met, the interactions I had with her through messages felt like she genuinely cares about you and your family. Can’t thank her enough for the little things she did to make us feel welcome as though we were more than just tenants. I would definitely stay there again if the need arises and definitely would recommend it to anyone that likes to have a nice clean and safe place away from the city life. We have stayed in multiple places like this in the past that were very nice but this one has been our favorite so far.
Kitchen was well equipped. Drawers and cabinet door were labeled. Host provided snacks, games, puzzles, etc. Rooms were spacious, well-furnished and nicely decorated.
Tracy was our host and she did a great job communicating with us. She did not hide or cover up anything about the property and the property was just wonderful! It was very roomy and yet very warm, feeling like home. Tracie also thought of so many details that were included in the bathrooms and kitchen so that we did not have to run to the store to get anything. We may have forgotten. There were plenty of choices of pods for coffee, tea, and basic seasonings in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again as we enjoyed the privacy that the property offered as well.
This place is absolutely wonderful. The pictures don't do it justice. It's roomy yet cozy, up-to-date, clean, and very comfortable and homey. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, cooking paraphernalia, etc. The bathrooms are well supplied with plenty of towels, etc. We didn't need much help with anything, but our host was very accommodating when we did. Super great place!
My family, 6 adults, stayed at Red Roof for a family wedding on the area. This home is well-stocked with everything you need to make a meal, play games with family..every convenience you need. It’s quiet and very spacious.Tracy communicated well. She even stocked the home with some water and snacks. I said several times that I wish we could move that place to where we’re vacationing in FL New Years! Would absolutely stay here again!
We booked Red Roof Retreat for family members visiting from another state for Thanksgiving. They could not have been happier with the accommodations. The home was beautiful and inviting with modern furnishings. We will book this VRBO in the future!
My family was very much impressed. We enjoyed our stay. The house was so comfortable, intimate and homie. It is so beautiful. We had so much fun. Tracy was very accommodating and attentive. Thank you for a lovely stay. I will definitely book Red Roof Retreat again.
Several people in our group agreed this was one, if not the of, the nicest VRBO’s we’ve stay in. This home is very clean, comfortable, peaceful, and the host is very accommodating. The setting is beautiful and we had not one complaint. It felt like we were staying in our family’s home 💗
We were in town to visit family for the holidays. This is a lovely property. Tracy made sure the house had everything we could possibly need and more. It was extremely welcoming, clean, and nicely decorated. The property is nice and provides a quiet setting to relax. We would love to stay here again.
Fantastic experience. Tracy and Jim are extremely kind and helped to make our stay as enjoyable as it was. The house is exactly as described and shown on the VRBO website. Very nice house and a very peaceful and private property. Would stay here again without a doubt.
This stay was beyond my expectations! The host was prompt with communication, always answered questions quickly, and provided helpful recommendations about the area. The home was spacious and immaculate, with a large kitchen stocked with snacks, coffee, tea and waters, a cozy living room as well as comfortable beds in every room! Cannot forget the extra special touch-chocolates by the bed, all of us were thrilled by that! Boards games and movies were perfect for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better location as well, my family and I loved the privacy and large outdoor space, we also enjoyed the bag toss game and the boys had plenty of space to play football. We were there for my son’s basic training graduation, the peaceful environment was just what was needed and he was so thankful. Overall, would absolutely plan to book this location with this host again.
Our family rented this property to spend time with our son after boot camp graduation. The house was very clean & provided a relaxing environment to spend time together. Lots of space. Enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon sun. Close to grocery stores, walking trails & restaurants. The host Tracy was available to answer any questions & stocked the kitchen well with spices, snacks & water. Nice kitchen to make meals in. Beautiful countryside setting.
We stayed at the Red Roof Retreat last weekend as we were visiting our son at Fort Moore. Tracy was amazing and very attentive and responsive. The house is beautiful and in a lovely quiet, serene setting away from everything in the country which is just what we wanted. It had everything we needed and many extras thanks to Tracy’s thoughtfulness. A great value! We definitely recommend this as a great place to stay in the Columbus, GA area. Thanks Tracy - you are an awesome host!
Our family traveled from Texas to attend our son's Army OCS graduation. We wanted somewhere we could relax and spend time as a family for a few days before he headed out. The Red Roof Retreat was even better than pictured and offered a fantastic opportunity to connect (my boys LOVED the foosball table). Tracy communicated clearly and added touches that were so sweet and thoughtful (snacks, waters, umbrellas for the rain and turned the lights on when our flights were delayed and we didn't arrive until after dark). We would definitely stay again and would recommend to other families visiting the area
Red Roof Retreat is best stay we have had and we do a lot of traveling and staying in hotels & BnB’s! We can’t say enough good things about this place, it’s PERFECTION! This home was completely private, extremely peaceful and was very safe. The house is huge & so spacious. The house was stocked perfectly, built well and kept up on repairs inside & out extremely well. The beds were comfortable. The couch and recliners even more so. The entire place including the bathrooms were immaculately clean.*2 sets of washers & dryers were a dream! Enclosed 2car garage and private drive were nice. Appreciating the 6provided umbrellas Honestly the pictures- however accurate do not do this home full justice! It’s even better in person. We were all blown away at the personal touched and care the host took. She is very attentive and quick to respond. We star gazed at night and played yard games and board games in the evenings. Watching the fireflies, hawks, frogs, and bats were so fun!! Our family of 6 stayed for 7 nights for an Army graduation and were more than happy to add the extra 15minutes it took to come & go from Ft. Benning. It was well worth it, no questions asked, I assure you! We’ve come out for two other military graduations and this is by far our favorite!! We fell in love with the “Country Side” of Georgia that we didn’t think possible We will return again!
The Red Roof Retreat was a great place to stay. Tracy the owner was wonderful, there was a nice hand written note when we arrived and also she left snacks, bottled water and coffee for us. The location was wonderful for our Taekwondo Tournament and it was close to Columbus and to Pine Mountain. The house was very big and very clean. We will be staying there every time we have a tournament in Columbus!
This was one of the best houses we have stayed in! Our Hosts were amazing and so helpful. We loved everything about the property and the house was perfect for all of our family.
