We had a great time in this very large house, plenty of room to visit and to dine together. Lots of special touches such as shampoo, conditioner, and other goodies in the bathrooms plenty of towels and great air conditioning. Owner is very responsive and kind.

Thank you to you and the group for choosing our home for your Walla Walla trip (and being so patient and kind during the small hiccup with the smoke alarms!) We hope to host you and the group again in the future. Cheers ~
Terrific location, walking distance to downtown. The home is a beautiful, extremely well-maintained historic home. Everything we needed was there we spent an evening enjoying the backyard. Great home base for our group of girlfriends to enjoy a long weekend in Walla Walla!

Thank you so much for choosing our home for your recent trip! You are welcome back anytime! Cheers ~
We rented this home for a weekend wine trip with four other couples. From the minute we walked in the door, all the ladies were commenting on the tasteful decorations and the absolutely beautiful home! There were bedrooms to accommodate all of us and every one of them was super comfortable. The formal dining room was perfect for having dinner together and hanging out, playing games in the evening. The kitchen had everything we needed for when we decided to BBQ. There was not one thing missing from this amazing house. Communication with Tracy was outstanding. Every time I messaged her, she had an answer right away. Everything about the stay was fantastic and we will return in the future. Highly recommend!!!

We loved this charming place and will likely make it an annual tradition! It was close and convenient to everything we had planned, so we walked everywhere and enjoy visiting with family along the way.
This property was awesome, room for all of us and restored beautifully.
Bike or walk downtown to fun restaurants or wine tasting.
Would definitely book again as there was a room for all 11 of us and the kids had a blast.

We really enjoyed our stay. Perfect accommodations for four to five couples. House was really well stocked with everything you could need. Great kitchen for cooking and massive tables inside and out for dining and playing games. Will definitely come back
This house was lovely and so thoughtfully appointed. We really enjoyed our time there—wish we had a few more days to enjoy it! Tracy was a most wonderful communicator too. Thank you, Tracy!

Thank you, Jackie, for choosing The James McCool House for your stay! Please come and visit us again - we'd be honored to host you and group again. Cheers ~
We loved staying in this house. It was spotless and comfortable. Four couples stayed two nights and everyone had a great time. It is on a busy corner with a stoplight which was the only disappointment - I was expecting a quiet downtown street, but regardless the house itself was very cool and well maintained. We had a great time.

Hi Laurel! Glad you & the group enjoyed your stay & had a great time at The James McCool House. Cheers ~ Tracy
The McCool House exceeded our expectations in every category. Vast attention was paid to the details of making our group of seven friends feel at home. The kitchen is superbly stocked for the cooks in the crowd. Dining and bedroom areas were generously sized yet intimate. The decor blends a vintage historical vibe with modern, unstuffy functionality. Communicating with host Tracy was a breeze and largely unnecessary once we moved in. Many thanks to the hosts who care and put the cool in the McCool!

What a great group! Thank you SO much for choosing our home for your trip to Walla Walla. Love the photos, and looking forward to hosting you again in the future!
A group of adult friends wanted to enjoy some kid free time with good food and great wine. The McCool house was charming and conveniently located to downtown. We walked there every morning for coffee and walked to and from dinner every evening. Would definitely stay here again for a short walla walla get away!
This was a clean, well maintained historic home that had plenty of space for our family, friends and our dog. The home is on an intersection but the owners have taken care to address any noise issues with white noise machines and a lovely enclosed back yard. The home has gorgeous tile and details that evoke its unique historic character. It was a fun and easy walk to town.
