Room was nice! Beds were amazing! The dryer made a horrible noise and it couldn’t be fixed. The beach is such a long walk from the boardwalk, our feet got burnt from the sand being so hot. Overall a great place! We would stay again!

Quiet getaway for the two of us.

We love Dauphin Island and usually stay at the Inn. Unit #211 was perfect for us. Ut was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again!

The condo was a great fit for my self, husband, 2 sons and their wives. It was clean and well stocked. We brought groceries to cook breakfast and lunch. Condo was located within walking distance to a couple restaurants and a couple minutes drive to other restaurants and golf course. Balcony view was worth the . Great experience will be back again next year. (Ps. Dryer works well but squeaks really loud. We would put our load in then go to dinner.

Love the Island

Property was nice and clean. It was our 2nd time staying at this property and would return. Only observation was that there was never anyone at the front desk to answer any questions.

Several problems with the condo. Ice maker did not work, dryer squeaks loudly, stove light did not work, track lighting did not work, outside of refrigerator and cabinets were dirty, exhaust fan did not work in master bedroom, screw out of dresser door handle, ceiling fans were dusty, trim around floor was dirty/dusty, mold on ceiling above the television in living room, shower curtain was moldy, paint peeling from ceiling, dishes/pains were dirty, there was left over pieces of an onion ring left on the outside stairs by the trash chute, pool had several cracked tiles.

Nice place to stay

Beach front, we had room 211. Like the other reviewers said, no curtains in the livingroom, not a big deal, you get full time view of the beach. The room could use a refresh but it was clean and comfortable. No problems with gate or room keypads as another reviewer had said. We only got in the pool once, 3 feet on each end and 6 foot in the middle. I’d guess both pools were the same. The pools were beet and clean, maybe 5 or 5 lounge chairs at each one. We spent the mornings at west beach and the beach at the property and afternoons running around. I would stay here again, it was a nice getaway.

Reviewer Comments: We recently visited Dauphin Island and stayed at The Inn of Dauphin Island. The Condo was very nice. The extra that were included made our stay very convenient. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. I was disappointed that the pool was not as clean as I would have anticipated. Although it was a pretty good walk to the beach, the beach was beautiful. We enjoyed it every day. The property was quiet and peaceful--we enjoyed coffee every morning on the balcony.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in a great location. It is right on the beach and the view from the balcony is amazing! It is located within walking distance of one of the islands' restaurants and a few of the shops. It is just a short bike ride/car ride away from other shops and restaurants as well. The furniture is a bit dated and the cleanliness of the condo does leave a bit in question. The carpet in the bedrooms were stained and worn, the beds had stained sheets and the kitchen cabinet nobs had a fine layer of greasy film. The condo could use a deep cleaning with some new linen and would then be an overall fantastic place to stay!

Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. The beach was great and it wasn’t crowded at all. The kids loved the pool. I loved having a washer and dryer! The gated parking lot was very nice too. We didn’t do much around the island bc of COVID, but everything looked very nice and we can’t wait to come back in more normal times. My 9 year old caught fish right from the beach in front of the inn so he was thrilled with that. I never actually saw it written anywhere but I was very happy to see the property had an outdoor shower for rinsing the sand off everything before coming back inside, also! Already planning next years trip, thanks for a wonderful vacation!

This is a tough one because I wasn’t really prepared for what I encountered. Usually I’m pretty good about accommodations being less than 5 stars. First of all the house from one side appears abandoned with sheets for curtains and boarded up windows. It’s clear that this house is in some transition but it’s tough to tell if it’s a transitioning to being abandoned or being renovated. The yard is unfinished. You have to use a combination lock to manually open and close a chain link fence/gate that appears to have been hit by a car because it’s severely damaged. So that’s the outside. Oh also the neighborhood is ok. If I were a single traveling female or anyone who lacked real confidence I probably wouldn’t rent this. The inside is again, in a place where it appears to be under a transition. The floors are uneven, meaning when you walk in there’s a grading that you can feel is uneven. Even my carryon was rolling to the lower parts of the apartment, which is on the side of the house. The bathroom is a lil weird because you can’t flush toilet paper, (owners instructions) and the washer and dryer (while convenient) are in the bathroom. The bathtub is on the barebones side. It works. There is a small window in the shower that cannot be closed and had a toiletries rack in the window frame that prevents the window being shut. While this place has the basic life conveniences you’d find in an apartment, this is more for college kids who just need a place to crash for a festival.

I'm not sure what property this review is for, but it is NOT for the listing shown here. This listing is a condo, and is beautifully appointed in a complex with 2 pools on the Gulf in Dauphin Island, AL.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo has been poorly maintained for a $350 a night rental. Light fixture falling down in the master bath, shower nozzle plugged up, scuff marks all over the walls, doors and baseboards, band aids covering electrical outlets. Very poorly cleaned. I took several pictures to document the condition. I would not recommend this condo to anyone in the current state. I will gladly share the pictures I took to document the condition of the unit.

But we had to go out and purchase toilet paper because they only provided 1 and a half rolls for our 6-day stay, with 4 people. There was mold visible on the ceilings in some places and in others, you could tell that it had just been painted over. Somewhat understandable I guess because it's right by the beach, but still, they should monitor that and treat it when it shows up...not just paint over. There was this light...thing...and my 4 year old was curious and touched it and it burned her. I have no idea what it was, but it's dangerous to not have at least a warning sign.
