We enjoyed our stay, the views were amazing including sunrise and moonrise over the mountains.Plenty of amenities- we were able to find anything that we needed in the kitchen.Property is private, but we were a bit surprised by the amount of road noise we could hear with the windows closed.

This house was just as listed. It provided the best space for our yearly 4th of July reunion with friends! We were super grateful for the beautiful views, fire pit, clean space, and supportive/communicative hosts.

Balsam Haven is a beautiful, clean and comfortable home! The decor is very nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the view is spectacular! The home is not technically a 4 bedroom home but worked perfectly for our group. Thank you for allowing us to use your home! We definitely recommend it!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We would love to host your family again anytime!
Beautiful home with wonderful views of the mountains, close to Sylva and WCU. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the late afternoon/evenings and the fenced yard for our dog. Driveway was very steep, but we were able to manage it in our mini-van without any issues (and was worth the view). Hosts were great and very responsive, would stay here again in the future.
We had a great overnight at Balsam Haven! Perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Everything we could need in the house. The deck is perfect, and having a fenced in side yard is really nice for our dogs. House was clean with lots of little touches to make our stay very pleasant. Will be back again if it’s not booked!
Great place for WCU graduation weekend. House was perfect. Parking was a little lean with a full house, but extra spot helped! Road is pretty steep but had no issues. Owners were very quick to respond to questions.
