Great location in a historic neighborhood with friendly locals. All amenities are provided were very much appreciated. A great place to stay especially for a long period!
Paige and her son were excellent hosts to us during our two week stay. Plenty of bedding and towels, and a kitchen with most of the cookware anyone may require. The neighborhood is also very quiet. A great time!

Thank you so much Peter. It was a true pleasure.
Please consider staying with us in the future.
I very much enjoyed my stay at this cozy apartment. It is accessible to everything. The owner also had a nice care package delivered. I definitely plan to stay again!
Nice spacious apartment. It was clean and easy to find. Some household items needed to be provided / restocked when we were there but once I commenced with the host it was handled quickly. Parking with permit was easy to find spots - getting the permit was a bit more complicated then expected but handwriting it and putting it in the car worked out just fine.
The property was clean & well appointed, it was in a lovely neighborhood, and not but 20 min walk to Metro train station. My friend and I had three days of sightseeing, ate great food and everyone we encountered was helpful & friendly. I LOVED OUR basement apt, very comfortable and we felt totally safe in the area. Thank you!
This was a great value for the DC area. 10 min or so walk to the metro (green line). The lay out was nice and felt bigger than the pictures made it out to be. This was the basement unit but never felt like that. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions ( not that we had many). Overall my family of 3 enjoyed our stay and enjoyed Washington DC!!

Thank you so much! Please consider us in the future.
My wife and I stayed at this lovely basement apartment for 3 days. Veryclean and updated. The only issueis that youca. hear almost every sound from the room above.
This garden unit was a great space for my partner & I and our toddler during our visit to DC. The unit was exceptionally clean and the kitchen well-stocked with utensils and basic cookware. We appreciated the snacks and k-cups for morning coffee. Neighborhood is quiet; there's a nice playground, coffee shops, restaurants and bus stops within easy walking distance.

Thank you so much!
Madeline and her family were a true pleasure to host.
Poor communication made the last day of our vacation a crisis that could have been avoided. We don’t treat people like that in SWMO. This was my first, and last Vrbo Facility specific - dirty linens on sofa bed, cat sized rats out back and no hot tub as billed

Thank you for your stay and your disappointed comments.
We greet ALL our guest with the utmost respect, and the feeling of home. This started for you by your arrival at 9AM unannounced, yet you were able to check in without question.
Unfortunately, the "poor communication crisis" you claim was on your part. It clearly states in the very directions you read to obtain entry, check out is 11 AM, which for most parts of the world, especially the US is again 11AM, with a request for late check out if needed by a guest. I'm not sure what time you thought you could check out but 2pm is unacceptable for you to assume which is the time you decided to return after being informed check out is 11AM.
With that said it does not excuse your bad behavior to ruin a rug intentionally with beet juice, because you were mad, or disappointed. The rug cost over $300 to replace.
Washington DC is an inner city; I do not control the street rodents.
The linen is changed with each guest, and if there was a concern we would have been happy to address it.
In addition, I'm not sure what apartment description you read, but we do NOT have a hot tub, nor do we advertise for one.
It is unfortunate that you are the ONLY bad rating that we have ever received.
We aim to please every guest and will continue to provide excellent service, patience and respect now and in the future.
