Relax and recharge at our peaceful, nature-filled, private get-away on historic Terra Ceia Island. Everything you need to relax or entertain, all in one place. Amazing waterfront views. World-class fishing on backyard private dock. Swimming pool (temp controlled with slide and basketball hoop) and hot tub. Secluded and peaceful 1.7 acre waterfront property, nestled in nature, features ocean facing yard, sand firepit with Adirondack chairs, 3 porch areas (one screened), professional grade putting green, trampoline, oversized chess board, basketball court, outdoor whiskey-barrel bar, outdoor kitchen and picnic area, outdoor TV and sound system, outdoor shower, 2 frisbee golf holes, stocked pond, stunning nature views (and nature lighting) and wildlife, and fruit bearing citrus trees (in season). Perfect for family (or group) getaways.

The house features a game room that has it all: pool table, poker table, ping pong, 3 arcade games, karaoke machine, dartboard, 2 TVs, popcorn maker, and more.

The rental also includes use of 2 kayaks, a golf cart, 2 SUPs, 5 bikes (including a tandem), corn-hole boards, and fishing poles. A short paddle/kayak ride down the canal has you in open ocean in a few minutes. And the secluded island roads offer stunning views for a morning or sunrise bike ride.

Short drive to St. Pete nightlife and nearby beaches in Bradenton, Sarasota, St. Pete, and Anna Marie Island. Family fun and adventure at historic Fort Desoto is just across the bridge.

Perfect place to catch MLB games - less than 15m drive to Pirates Spring Training and 30m drive to Yankees and Orioles; Phillies and Tigers less than an hour drive. Rays regular season games are 30 minutes from house.

Fly into Tampa (35 minute drive) or Sarasota (25 minute drive). Also an easy drive to IMG.

Annual Golf Trip

Held the annual golf trip in the area with 8 buddies. Great location with great courses ~30 minutes away. Something for everyone to do after the round whether it be hanging by the pool, throwing a line in the water, or relaxing in the spacious living room. Easy access to downtown St. Petersburg and nearby beaches. Overall a fantastic place to stay and Steven makes it super easy. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Unique, true Florida residence

If you’re looking for a great getaway without the touristy feeling, this is the place. Wonderful home full of character and tasteful charm. Amazing yard and amenities. Wonderful host. Bathrooms all beautiful, clean, updated- even an outdoor shower that was a hit with the littles. We enjoyed hanging out on the decks, watching the wildlife, casting a line from the dock, taking a paddle, laughing at a father and son go on the tandem bike and touring the island on the golf cart. Spent the days in the beautiful pool and the slide was great fun - walk right into the outdoor area with fridge, tv, bar seating, couch and great views. It was a hit!

Spectacular Hidden Gem

My family and I came down for a soccer tournament at IMG and If you're searching for the ultimate retreat that seamlessly blends luxury, nature, and endless entertainment, look no further! This sanctuary offers a slice of paradise unlike any other. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in tranquility, surrounded by lush greenery and picturesque waterfront views that instantly melted away our stresses. The amenities at Island Sanctuary are beyond compare. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, there's something here for everyone. The private dock provided endless opportunities for fishing, while the swimming pool and hot tub, complete with a slide and basketball hoop, and golf cart kept us entertained the whole stay. Outdoor entertainment area was unbelievable, it had everything and made every meal a memorable occasion. Despite the secluded location, the Island Sanctuary is conveniently close to everything, IMG is about a 25-30 minute drive depending on traffic. What truly sets Island Sanctuary apart is the warm hospitality of Steve, who ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. From the moment we booked until the day we departed, his attentiveness and care made us feel like family. In conclusion, Island Sanctuary and Retreat is more than just a vacation rental—it's an experience that rejuvenates the soul and creates memories to last a lifetime. We cannot recommend this oasis highly enough and eagerly anticipate our next visit to this slice of paradise!
