Beautiful quiet place! The owner thought of everything even down to snacks waiting in the kitchen when we arrived. The ingenuity of the place and the thought about how nature and the wooded environment played into the entire setting was wonderful. We were in the area doing genealogy and looked forward to returning to the little cabin in the woods at the end of the day!When next in the area, I hope it will be available so we can stay again.

Everything about this place is unique. Beautiful cabin with an artsy touch. Very comfortable and loved the hot tub. Would love to stay here again when we are back in town visiting my mom.

Weekend getaway

My wife and I choose this cabin as a secluded weekend getaway for our anniversary. I could not have of chosen a better place. It is extremely quiet and mostly isolated back in the trees. We were able to sit outside on the deck for several hours without hearing another sound other than some wildlife. I highly recommend staying here if you want a quiet and private place.

The overall place was great! The hostess was responsive. The description of the place was one reason I only gave 4 stars. When someone calls an area of the living space cut off by a curtain a room, I don't agree with it. Take it for what it's worth - that's my opinion. We were under the impression both of us could be in separate rooms - meaning shut out from the noise in the kitchen or living space. Otherwise, the place was great: the Pac-man game table was a nice break, the grounds were good. The only other complaint was the text asking us to quickly move our vehicle from where we parked it because their propane person was coming... while they had tenants (us). That's poor planning, and no, I'm not stopping what I came here to do to run out and try to accommodate someone you should have scheduled a day when you don't have someone paying to have the privacy of the place.

You raise a fair point about the room description — we want guests to know exactly what to expect before booking, and “curtain-divided space” is clearer than “room” if it doesn’t offer full sound separation. We’ll update the listing so future guests have accurate expectations going in. We also apologize for the timing of the propane delivery request. You’re right that it should have been scheduled around guest stays, not during one, and we shouldn’t have asked you to interrupt your time to accommodate it. We’ll be more mindful of scheduling vendor visits going forward so it doesn’t happen again. Thanks again for the honest feedback — it genuinely helps us improve the place for the next guests. This was a great place to stay and was very calm and relaxing. Has everything you need and the large porch and hot tub are great places to just sit outside and relax. Would definitely recommend and stay again if we are in the area again.

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay while visiting family and friends in Georgia! The property is tucked back away from the hustle of town traffic and was flourishing with wildlife.It offered everything we needed to function like at home for a week plus extras like a gaming table, porch swings, hot tub and a fire pit! The host was amazing at giving us directions to both find the location as well as the check in and out process and even immediately responding to any questions we had! We definitely plan on being back.

We love the Forest Treehouse and Forest Retreet !! We have stayed in the smaller house and this trip we were in the Forest Retreet. We love the space, the layout, and the light! This is a beautiful getaway!
