Great home base in for outdoor adventure in ADK
Property was roomy, beds comfortable and plenty of hot water for showers. Lack of closet space made it hard to put clothes away. Kitchen worked for us as we brought easy to heat and eat meals with us. Bathroom upstairs could benefit from some towel bars. Some areas were dusty. Overall, this property met our needs. We didn't have time to use the downstairs game room but it looked like fun.

Rustic and peaceful
A wonderful place to enjoy the Adirondacks. Comfortable and cozy and tucked in the woods. Yet accessible to Inlet and Old Forge for shops and restaurants. Close to many trails and mountains to hike.

Black Bear Crossing - August 2022
The cabin was very nice - very clean, plenty of room, and nicely decorated. Screened in porch was the best!! It was evident that the owners take pride in their property and want their guests to feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. Proximity to Inlet and other places really good. Host very friendly and prompt with communication and we were provided with everything we needed. We did lose power during a stormy time (along with Inlet and Old Forge) for about 6 hours. Candles and oil lamps came in handy, but water would not run without the electricity. One thing that would have made our stay even better would have been for one of the two upstairs bedrooms to have housed the two twin beds, because our children were too young to leave on their own all night in the basement bedroom two stories down from their parents. All things considered, however, we would stay here again and would recommend this property to friends.

Better than Grandma’s house!
From the moment we walked into the house it felt like a family home. The size of the rooms were generous. The fireplaces were warm and inviting. We were able to not only enjoy a fire in the fire pit, complete with S’more’s, we also brought yard games and had so much fun playing with ( and like ) children again. The lake was awesome for swimming and paddling. Many thanks and so much gratitude to Mary for offering this gem.

Family time before camp drop off
It was wonderful to stay at the Fitzgerald’s home, a beautiful property located perfectly between Old Forge and Inlet. We too were fans of the huge screened in porch!
