We loved PDX Eco Cottage. The space was private and comfortable. The neighborhood was so walkable, we loved exploring and hope to come back. The host was very communicative and available if we needed anything. We would highly recommend!
The host was excellent and on site of I had needed anything. They provided delicious teas and a well set up kitchen for cooking. The ADU was well decorated and a very peaceful and homey place to spend the weekend. I would love to come back and would recommend it to anyone!

Thanks James! So glad the Cottage met your needs. Hope to see you again.
The cottage is in a great walkable neighborhood close to many good restaurants and shopping. It’s a very comfortable little Home away from home. Communication with Susan was easy and prompt. Looking forward to staying in the Eco Cottage during my next visit to Portland!
Had a great time at Eco Cottage! Great location, in a quiet neighborhood but still walkable to plenty of restaurants. The cottage is so cute and felt private!
The Eco-Cottage is one VRBO that is even better than the photos. Susan was lovely and accommodating. The neighborhood was absolutely charming and easily accessible by public transport. As an added bonus we got some of the bounty from Susan's beautiful garden. I would come back in a heartbeat!
We loved the Eco Cottage and would definitely stay again! The house had everything we needed, and our host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We were within walking distance of a coffee shop and dining options. The historic neighborhood was so charming.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage was perfect - it had everything we needed and the location is great. The neighborhood is within walking distance of so many fun places to eat and shop. We hope to stay here again when we come back! The big public rose garden right in front was a plus, too. Susan was a pleasure to deal with and we enjoyed meeting the dogs. Highly recommend this delightful cottage!

About the host

I've lived in Portland's Ladd's Addition neighborhood since 1992, originally hailing from L.A. And living for a few years each in NYC, Maui and the Eastern Sierra mountains. Hospitality is in my DNA, having previously managed vacation rentals in Nicaragua and on Maui. I'm a passionate home birth midwife and in my off time I garden, growing perennials and organic vegetables, am an avid traveler, backpacker, fly fisher and cyclist. I love to eat and seek out new fine dining opportunities as well as unique food trucks and i'm happy to share them with you. During your stay, i can lay low, offering privacy or be a resource for your intro to portland's many interesting offerings. For inspiration, these evocative words speak volumes to me: 'let yourself be silently drawn by the strange pull of what you really love. It will not lead you astray......Rumi'
