Come and enjoy northeast Portland in our sophisticated, well appointed basement guest suite with ample on-street parking, private entrance and a lovely backyard oasis, located within walking and biking distance (one mile) from the Alberta Arts District. Your on-site hosts have extensive neighborhood and Portland knowledge to help you find the perfect spot for your day trips. The shaded backyard with secret garden paths calls out to you to explore. Guests are welcome to use the gas grill, outdoor patio seating, complimentary bikes (2), or outdoor fire table in the evenings. We invite you to sit and enjoy some local micro-brew or local Oregon wines.

The space
With over 900 square feet, this one bedroom guest suite functions like an apartment. It features a luxurious king sleigh bed with a custom hybrid memory foam/coil Helix mattress. The 50” swivel wall mounted TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix (you will need to sign in with your own account) allows for enjoyable viewing from the couch or the bed. The couch also folds out to a queen size bed with memory foam mattress and topper. Additionally, there is a twin size trundle bed (two twin mattresses, one above and one that slides out) in the kitchenette area.

The kitchen has everything needed for making meals, or more likely, mixing up yesterday’s leftovers, considering the incredible choice of delicious food nearby. We offer a full size refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, electric fry pan, dishes, utensils, cookware, toaster oven and coffee makers (drip coffee maker as well as french press, coffee grinder and electric tea kettle). We've also left a collection of menus from local restaurants for your browsing pleasure.

The bathroom is located down the hall from the kitchen, which was recently remodeled in order to add a new tub/shower combo and vanity. The tub features enamel on steel with rubbed bronze finishes and is a generous size to allow for a good soak at the end of the day. A large laundry room is located just past the bathroom and offers a full size washer and dryer, which is exclusively for guest use.

A spacious layout, including a sitting area in the kitchen, is perfect to create a work space, or extra sleeping space for your family or friends.

The suite can accommodate up to four adults (although we technically could sleep more than that, our permit with the City allows a total of 4 guests per stay). The Concordia Guest suite is perfect for a weekend getaway with your friend/partner/spouse, a solo trip to relax and explore the City, a girls weekend away, or for the short term business traveler seeking a home away from home for several weeks. Please note that the space is not suitable for infants or young children.
