Welcome to 'Poppy's Carriage House', your 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom getaway in Rosemary Beach.

LOCATION:

Nestled on the far eastern end of Scenic Highway 30A, Rosemary Beach is equal parts charming and architecturally captivating. This pristine beach town offers access to four uniquely styled swimming pools (one of which is heated), nine different private beach access points, eight premier Har-Tru tennis courts, a kid's play area, and a short walk to the town square where you'll find unrivaled boutique shopping and dining options.

Poppy's Carriage House is perfectly situated just steps from the fitness center and Sky Pool - Rosemary Beach's only indoor/outdoor lap/family pool. The home is a short 2-minute bike ride or 5-minute walk to the beach.

PROPERTY OVERVIEW:

The carriage home's separate entrance can be accessed by private staircase and offers 500 sq. ft of cozy, self-contained living quarters for up to four guests. The carriage home opens into the main living area with couch seating and a smart TV. Adjacent to the living area is the carriage home's dining space and fully-equipped kitchen, stocked with all of the appliances and dinnerware you'll need for any home meals. The main bedroom space offers a queen bed with a separate closet and laundry area that passes through to the full bathroom. The carriage home's secret loft space can be accessed by ladder, and comes with two additional twin beds.

AMENITIES:

The home provides access to two brand-new beach cruisers, towels (excluding beach towels), fresh linens, cutlery, cooking utensils, and a private parking space within the garage as well as close by roadside parking.

NOTE:

This home has a strict no-pet policy. Unauthorized occupancy of pets will result in immediate eviction and loss of all rents and deposits, and the guest will be responsible for any direct or consequential damages.

The primary guest must be 25 or older to rent this home.

Guests shall be issued (2) two temporary parking permits/hangtags, which must be displayed and clearly visible at all times when parked in on-street spaces. Permits/hang tags are not required for if your vehicle is parked in the home's garage.

Community quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am daily.

Your stay will include an RFID amenity pass, which provides access to Rosemary Beach's various community amenities. This pass must remain with the home. Any lost passes will result in a $50 replacement fee per lost pass.

Should you wish to arrange for beach chair service through Rosemary Beach, we will provide a link and code to do so after booking - please be advised that these services come at a charge and book far in advance. Please book early to try and secure a spot.

Trash must be bagged and placed inside roller trash cans with the lid fully closed.

Unless you have specifically arranged for an early arrival time, please do not arrive at the property before your scheduled check-in time.

Do not hang towels on staircase railings. The HOA imposes fines on guests found to be doing so.

Great stay!

We had a great time during our Rosemary Beach vacation. The carriage house was nice and convenient. Everything was clean and had everything we needed to get through our stay.

Perfect stay for a family of 4

We had a wonderful stay at Poppy's Carriage House. It was just enough space for our family of four (two adults and 2 older teen boys) to be comfortable. We cooked dinner in two nights and the kitchen was easy to navigate. The house was clean, cute, and well organized for our stay. The host was easy to communicate with and gave us good instructions. We had two bikes provided by the host, and rented 2 more from YOLO who delivered the bikes to us. We had an amazing trip and hope to stay here again!

Wonderful stay at poppy's cottage! Everything was neat and clean. The owner happened to pop in and was so nice! The main house was empty that week so she allowed us to use the pool and backyard of main home. We thought that was so nice. We will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying at Poppy's Carriage House for three months until our home was ready. Located in Rosemary Beach we were able to walk or bike everywhere. The Carriage house is outfitted with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and feel like home. If we had any questions there were answered very promptly by the management company. Communication was superb. Thank you, we home to be back.

Poppy’s Carriage House

Decorated so cute-all new and nice. loved the door lock feature. I thought we could use fitness center but not able to without paying a fee. That was a bummer. Bikes are new and nice. The property manager guy was nice. The garage door is difficult to use, so we didn’t. Overall a great stay. We didn’t use upstairs and it’s really high in the air-the staircase-I would be afraid to let small kids use it.

Poppy's Carriage House

We had a great stay on 30A! Poppy's Carriage House was a great little space for us. Clean, updated and the owners addressed any concerns we had right away. This is a lovely area and the carriage house is located in a great spot. Many restaurants, coffee shops, general shopping, green spaces, pools, tennis courts and of course the beautiful ocean are within walking distance. For two people this would be pretty ideal. A few things to note in case you are thinking of renting. Getting to the upstairs loft was easy for our teen daughter and her friend. But, would not work well for younger children or older adults. We knew this going in but just an FYI. Also, if you want to sit outside in the beautiful Florida weather you will need to go to one of the many green spaces, into the “town” area, pool areas or some of the beach entrances do have deck areas with umbrellas and Adirondack chairs for ocean viewing and of course the beautiful sunsets. The cottage has no outdoor area to speak of and we will take this into consideration with our next rental. Again, we knew this going into the rental but missed not being able to sit outside without getting dressed and ready for the day. We only used our car one time and that was to go pick up our Walmart grocery order. I highly recommend ordering prior to your stay so that you can just run to pick up your items. It was getting pretty crowded at Walmart (15 minute drive) by the time we went to pick up our order. Our rental supplied us with enough paper towels, TP, garbage bags, dishwasher tabs, laundry tabs and hair and body wash for our six day stay. This was a nice bonus that not all rentals have. Again, we had two adults and two teens. P.S. Get coffee singles and or filters for coffee as these are not provided. The rental came with two bikes that the teens used several times. We also ended up renting Electric Bikes from YOLO. We did this in advance of our stay and they delivered and picked them up on the day we specified. We decided that we will always do this electric bike rental . It was so fun but also very useful. Yes, you can walk or ride the bikes that are offered via the house/guest house but several days were very windy and several areas we wanted to visit would have been a pretty long trek on standard beach bikes. We even went to Seaside via the electric bikes one day. About a ten mile ride. In our opinion the option to peddle or switch on the power when getting tired out was well worth the investment. Highly recommend if you can fit this in the budget. We did save some money on eating at the carriage house rather than out for most breakfasts and lunches. We ate out for dinners. Prices are high as expected. Also, expect a wait unless going very early. One of our favorite meals was in Seaside at Bud and Alleys! We took the electric bikes on one of the cooler/windy days. Great fun area with LOTS of teens! Many shops and places to eat, food trucks as well. I'm glad we stayed in Rosemary rather than seaside. Great day trip but a bite more of a party town than we are looking for these days. Rosemary is a nice generational family area. You can have fun without worry no matter what the ages not much craziness as with other towns. This is something that takes a bit of the worry out of vacationing with teens. After 8 p.m. they needed to be with us. I really liked this and I think our teens didn't mind it. It's not for everyone but is very family friendly. All in all our stay at Poppy's carriage house in Rosemary beach was fantastic! This review was not just about the place we stayed but also Rosemary beach! We will definitely be back with our older “children” and in our coming retirement years! P.S. I would add a couple of things that would make a stay at the cottage a 5 plus rating. 1) a binder with map of Rosemary and the general area, recommendations/names of different restaurants in the area. Things to do etc. would be great. 2) definitely time for new/up graded bed sheets. 3) more thought/time should be put into the loft area to make it more appealing. These minor things would really up the perceived and actual value of the carriage house. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us!
