We have the pool advertised as opening up on Memorial Weekend and closed Labor Day. The pool was closed this year on 9/2. Your reservation had an arrival date of 9/20. When we closed the pool on 9/2 we removed the keys to prevent access to the pool area. We also have signs out that read "Pool Closed" on the entry gate of the pool area. If for some reason you were not aware the pool was closed you could have called to inquire why the access to the pool is closed off. We were waiting for the pool cover to come in to be installed on the pool to complete the closure. We sure hope you did not disregard the Pool Closed sign and use the pool as it had not been treated nor was the pool pump on to circulate the water.

Sometimes with outdoor pool things can change pretty quickly. However, we have a Certified Pool Operator vendor who takes care of our pools and is always available to quickly address any issues that come up. Glad it all worked out for you guys. Glad all was great. Your assessment of the pool situation is a bit exaggerated. No doubt there was an issue with the pool as with all outdoor pools things can go wrong very quickly. The pool was cleaned at the last checkout which occurred 3 days prior to your arrival. Our pool vendor already had the cabin on the schedule to be serviced. When you called to report the issue they responded immediately, made the repair, and the pool was operational and ready to use in just a few hours. If you only used the pool 2 days out of 5 that was because of your choice not because the pool could not be used. You never reported any further issues during your stay. Very sorry you encountered any issues at all and would have been happy to resolve any others had we been given the opportunity.

Your review is disappointing/misleading. I agree when you arrived to the office you acted annoyed/grumpy throughout our exchange. In fact, when I said hello you immediately responded how annoyed you were with traffic asking if our office is your cabin. From this point you seemed to want to deteriorate our interaction. I am glad you referenced the email as it was your biggest point of contention. You claimed you never got it. I mentioned I sent the email a couple hours prior to your arrival, but would be happy to send it again. You were adamant you did not receive it. After a few moments you finally found the email that was sent to you, which proved it was sent. This seemed to infuriate you more. I am also pleased you mentioned all the other emails/correspondence. If you read them, you would have had a better understanding of what to expect on the check-in date and arrival procedures. The pool is advertised as being available from Memorial day to Labor day. Your arrival date was October 11th. This should not have been a surprise to you. You spent several days at the cabin without a single word of any issues. I believe your review is an attempt to impede our business. You were treated with kindness and professionalism. I don't believe you were in a state of mind to truly recall our interaction. It seemed to me no matter what I said or how much I tried to be of help to you it was more important to you to show me you were mad. You did leave the cabin in great shape. Thank you!
