The house was big enough for large families. The only thing missing was a place to sit outside to eat. Andrea was a perfect hostess and was very good about answering our emails.

Family Fun

We came as a family of 10 and enjoyed all the activities of Bear Lake and the house. The kids enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. We loved the great big table for our game time and eating together. The kitchen was wonderful with lots of enmities. Our highlight was the Bridgerton Obstacle course on the hill and swimming in the lake.

Andrea’s property was amazing to stay at! The pictures truly do not do it justice because it’s so much more spacious in person than it looks in the pictures! It’s a beautiful home and the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and dish you could need! There were also plenty of extra towels and blankets as well! We absolutely loved the ping pong table top game and the two very spacious living rooms. Andrea was such a kind host and was very accommodating! I absolutely recommend this place to anyone and I’ll definitely be booking here again!

The house was very spacious for our family of 5. There were laundry bins in each room, which we appreciated. There were plenty of towels and linens. Check in was smooth. There were a few games and pickleball paddles/balls which we enjoyed.Unfortunately, only 2 of the 6 bedrooms had dressers (the master and the kid room with bunk beds in the basement). 1 room had a nightstand with a single drawer, the other 3 rooms had no clothes storage so my 3 kids had to live out of their suitcases for the week. There were closets with a few hangers but not enough to hang everything and nowhere to put socks, underwear, etc. Very odd. Three of the bedrooms are East facing with thin coverings and get extremely bright at sunrise. My 10 yo was not able to sleep past 6:20 am, even with an eye mask. There is a hot tub, but the guest book indicates 24 hours notice is required for use. That seems odd as well but I texted the owner to ask her to let me know when we could use it. At that point, I was informed that it was broken. The hot tub is not specified in the listing, but is mentioned in multiple reviews. Had we not read the guestbook we would have used it. The water was hot and permission is not typically required to use a hot tub in a rental. This should be proactively communicated to guests. Or better yet, the hot tub should be functional and available.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the home spacious, check-in smooth, and appreciated the plentiful towels, linens, laundry baskets, games, and pickleball equipment. For future guests, we would like to clarify a few points. The home is accurately represented in the listing photos, including the furnishings and storage available in each bedroom. We do not advertise a dresser in every bedroom, and all the bedrooms provide closet and hanging space instead. We understand some guests may prefer additional drawer storage, but this was not an amenity represented or promised in the listing. The window coverings are also shown in the listing photos. We understand that some guests may be more sensitive to morning light than others, but individual sleep preferences can vary. Regarding the hot tub, it is not listed or advertised as an amenity and was therefore not included as part of the reservation. Unfortunately, it was not operational during your stay. We agree that outdated information in the guest book should have been removed and have addressed that. However, an amenity mentioned in older reviews but not included in the current listing should not reasonably be assumed to be part of a reservation. We value constructive feedback and continually work to improve the guest experience. We also encourage guests to carefully review listing photos, descriptions, and advertised amenities before booking to ensure a property meets their individual preferences and expectations.
