Cute House Stayed for Graduation Weekend
This was a darling house, so well decorated and seemed currently updated. The a/c worked like a charm as sometimes it's hard to keep a house cool during humid Alabama days. We had family in town for my daughter's graduation and it accommodated 5 adults (2 in each of the queen beds and 1 on the couch). The property was advertised as able to sleep 6 but the couch did not pull out or flatten like a futon so that was unfortunate. We wound up bringing an air mattress just in case and we're glad we did. The host was very responsive to my inquiries before actually arriving as I was looking for a place to rent a wheel chair and order a cake which was very helpful. The only other complaint was that the yard wasn't very well maintained, however, during our second day there the landscapers showed up to cut the grass. Also, some of the houses around us were quite run down with tall grass while others were brand new and immaculate. That being said, we had zero issues with safety, no problems with our cars in the street, even though the property had bars on the windows. The kitchen utensils were pretty sparse but we ate out most of the time so not a big deal. Also, the coverlets and throws on the bottom of the beds could have been a little cleaner. Sheets were fine though. Also, we had to purchase new batteries for the tv remotes as they did not work and the PIN for the tv was missing. For the price, this was a very nice stay and I wish the host nothing but continued success.
