Mauna Kea Resort is a gated community which allows you to experience and access some of the best beaches in the world - Kauna'oa Beach and Hapuna Beach. Amenities at the resort include two championship quality golf courses, the Mauna Kea Golf Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr., and the Hapuna Prince Golf Course. The Club at Mauna Kea provides tennis courts, hotel pool and beach service, two spas, along with two fitness centers, fitness classes and water sports through Mauna Kea Beach.


Exciting Mauna Kea Beach Hotel $180Million renovation tentative schedule April 2024 to 2026. Their top priority is to minimize the impact of the renovation on the guests:
Phase One enhancements to the Main Tower and Phase Two upgrades to the Beachfront Wing, Hau Tree and the family pool have been completed and are now open for guests to enjoy. The brand new state-of-the-art fitness center and adults‑only infinity edge pool are also open, offering fresh spaces for wellness and relaxation. The only remaining addition is our destination Spa, anticipated to open in April 2026.
