Great property! Easy lake access but hike and fish in Moss Lake nearby, too! Beautiful area and the cabin had everything we needed. We look forward to staying again!
We loved our stay at West Bay Hideway. Big Moose is a lovely quiet lake and the cabin is very homey and comfortable. Especially enjoyed hanging out of the dock and watching the loons. Super convenient to lots of hiking trails and a quick ride to Inlet for all the essentials we forgot!
I brought my family seeking peaceful solitude and a deep connection with nature, and wow did we find it. Incredibly quiet and picturesque lake. DEEP water off the dock Great for a family of swimmers. Very comfortable accommodations. Big fans of Big Moose.
Great location on a beautiful lake. Clean and calm waters. Quiet and serene at night.
The cabin had everything we needed. The internet was fantastic.
Could use better bath towels and a screen door for the back slider. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
West Hideaway Bay is at the end of Big Moose Lake with beautiful scenery of the lake. You are able to see the lake from the back porch or get a closer view down at the boat dock. We loved watching the sunrise and the fog lifting in the morning. The fish jumping was an added piece of entertainment. The camp is cozy and decorated to match the outdoors. It was equipped with everything we needed. The host responded quickly to any questions we had. It was a great long weekend for us and we are thinking of returning next year.
Great place! Beautiful area!! Good size kitchen, and a great living area that appears to have been redone with some pine wood. Both bathrooms appear to also recently been redone. The dock was our focal point. Loon calls and Big Moose community church bells, were a soothing touch. Just Awesome sitting out there everyday! Stayed seven nights and didn’t want to leave. Only 15 min to Inlet and only 25 min to Old Forge. Great local restaurants. Went to several, but our favorites were Big Moose Station, (was like an home cooked meal!) and Frankie‘s (great Italian) in old Forge. Tony Harper’s was also good. We did a lunch there. Plenty of hiking areas! For an easy hike and beautiful view, Moss Lake is 10 minutes down the road highly recommend. Would definitely entertain coming back again.
