This was an absolutely perfect spot for our 4-day snowmobiling trip! The house is very clean, cozy and spacious! The hosts were very kind and informative! It is in a great location that is close to a main trail and we will most definitely stay there again!
This property was a great choice! The fire pit and outside deck were great for sitting back and relaxing. The kids loved playing games up in the loft area as well. The kitchen was well supplied with all the pans, utensils, etc needed to cook for a family. The town of Inlet nearby was great to visit as well. We're all talking about coming back already!
So relaxing the home is very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well stocked with dish’s & pans. Beds comfy & even though there is a main road it’s very quiet. We enjoyed setting on the deck & the inside loft game room watching the deer & turkeys. The home is so well insulated u can’t hear outside noises & it’s not drafty. For those rainy days there are plenty of board games, puzzles & DVD to keep you entertained. Lots of hiking trails within a short drive & quant town close by.
The property was just what we hoped for in an Adirondack location. It was a beautiful setting among rocks and local flora. The house was easily accessible and welcoming upon arrival. The layout of the interior is open and roomy - great for families or groups that really want to share the space. Plenty of nearby hiking/snowmobiling/ shops and restaurants (Old Forge and Inlet).Just some information to prepare for your stay. We weren’t fans of the well water so picked up some bottled from the nearby local grocery store, left the house a bit cleaner (bathrooms and kitchen) and more organized(cupboards) than upon arrival. Mechanics of the house are below the master bedroom and are audible (for light sleepers, my husband always has earplugs and was fine). If you are looking for anything more than the bare minimum for food prep in the kitchen I would suggest bringing it. Shower drains are slow and water pools SLIGHTLY in the tub. Also, for any confusion in the listing - 2 full bathrooms only, NO laundry. Hosts responded to our few questions quickly and provided a bundle of wood for the fire pit when I inquired if there was any available at the property, very thoughtful! We enjoyed the games provided. Would recommend, our family had a fun and memorable stay!
