Fantastic family holiday venue

We had a lovely time last week at this cottage. It was spotless when we arrived and the kitchen was fully-equipped with everything we needed to prepare family meals. It is only 15 min from Sauble and 10 min to Red Bay. The new back cement patio allowed the grandchildren to ride their scooters without worrying about cars. This is a true family-friendly home.

Perfect stay near Sauble Beach

Loved our stay at Orchid. The property was stunning and clean. The extra touches in the rental made our stay so easy. Recommend any families to choose this location if staying at Sauble Beach - close enough to enjoy the beach but far away enough to enjoy some quiet.

Outstanding property!

If you are looking for a quiet away from it all place this is it! The place was spectacular. Short drive to the beach or Sauble Beach - for a little more activity - and otherwise quiet, restful place.

Beautiful space

We had a great time here, as a family of six adults and four kids. A lovely place to hang out — thoughtfully designed, well built and stocked with everything we needed. Delightful.

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. It was so great to have AC as the temperatures were in the 30s early in the week. We had a great time playing ping pong and air hockey in the basement. The kitchen had everything but a large pot for boiling corn. All the applicance were great and mattress/pillows comfortable. Hosts were great and very accessible.

Fantastic Rental

Our entire family was thrilled with the Orchid Retreat and we were so impressed the cleanliness of every single room. The cottage was so well appointed, there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't already there. We were ages 3 years old to 78 years old and there was something for everyone. One very minimal suggestion would be - WD40 the doors so they don't squeak...LOL. I would give this ten stars if I could. Thanks for making our holiday so fun.

This was an absolutely beautiful home! I stayed here for 2 nights for a family get together. The instructions were very thorough and clear and listed what was available at the home. It was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was plenty of childrens and baby equipment which helped reduce the amount of packing my family needed to do! Very child friendly host and home. The location is amazing if you want something close to hikes and national parks. We went to Bruce Peninsula National Park during our stay! Nathan, the host was very responsive and accommodating. He answered all my questions!
