Amazing Home

I stayed here with a large group (10) and found The home to be better and more beautiful than the pictures implied. Linda clearly goes above and beyond with amenities and once she gets you set up stays out of your hair. The pool and deck area were huge and a great place to relax. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a house in the Hamptons area.

BEAUTIFUL HOME AND GETAWAY!

Absolutely a beautiful home and highly recommend! the decor was stunning, the kitchen was fully stocked from spices to pans to kitchen appliances -eg there were 3 different types of coffee machines! the pool and deck is fabulous and a very cool grill. the owner was very helpful and was very responsive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The house was really lovely! Very clean and spacious. Kitchen is extremely well stocked. Overall a really nice trip. As other comments mentioned, AC zone control is a bit off. We had some trouble turning on the grill but eventually figured it out. Additional fee for pool heating.

Good location to avoid Hamptons traffic

We enjoyed our stay here - 3 generations gathered and we loved having a pool! Linda was very responsive. Easy drive to beaches and Splish Splash (about 30 min). Two notes: Stairs are spiral stairs that might be tough for older folks or very young kids (the elderly person in our group slept in the one main bedroom on the ground floor). Setting the AC so that the top floor is OK makes the basement very cold (which was great for sleeping but fyi)

Great house and great service

I stayed at Linda’s property with a group of friends and our husbands (13 people). We had a great stay, the house was clean and spacious - with multiple indoor and outdoor hang out areas and a great pool. The temperature was much warmer in the upstairs bedrooms and much colder in the basement (understandable), so plan accordingly with your group! Linda was very communicative and responsive when we had questions and was super helpful. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone! Thanks Linda.

Hampton bays

We stayed at the house for my father’s 75th birthday. We had 13 guests and the house was able to accommodate us all. The pool was wonderful. Everyone loved the floats. We did have to turn on the heater manually. We thought it would be on before we arrived. Also, the listing said there was a hot tub, but there wasn’t. The house was stocked with a lot of cooking supplies, which made making meals easy. The location was great. We visited the bay a few days while there. Linda was fast to reply to when I had questions. I would suggest making guests aware of any scheduled maintenance crews who may be coming to the house. That way guests can plan their stay accordingly. The temp in the house was tricky to manage and varied by floor. All that to say, the house was great and my family and I had a wonderful time.

Lovely week in spacious house

My wife, myself and our 2 sons spent a lovely week at Linda's house in Hampton Bays. The deck is a great place to hang out. There are 2 sections - one with a table and 2 sitting areas, and the second with pool and lounge chairs. There is a system in place to keep gnats off the deck which makes it super pleasant to swim and hang out. There are many blow-up pool toys including several to lie on in the pool. The house has hard wood floors and comfy furniture in the living room. There is a dvd player and tons of movies. Linda is very responsive and sent over the maid to turn on the dishwasher when we couldn't figure out how to do it. There is a neighborhood across the street with a 2 miles loop which was great for walks and jogging. Hampton Bays is a very short ride by car (or medium walk) and beach is about a 10 minute ride by car ($25 per car for day pass). Southampton is under a 20 minute car ride. So, to summarize, it was a wonderful and relaxing week in very comfortable surroundings!!

Worst host I’ve ever met. Please be careful…

We booked this house listed as having 6 bedrooms. Before finalizing, we confirmed this with the host via chat (she confirmed there are 6 bedrooms). However, upon arrival, we found only 5 bedrooms. This was a major issue as we specifically needed 6 bedrooms for our group. When we called the host, she initially denied any mistake. After showing her the proof, she admitted it but refused to apologize or offer a solution. Instead, she got angry and threatened to kick us out when we asked for reasonable compensations, saying her brother, who lives nearby, would come over immediately to force us out. This was incredibly unprofessional and frightening. It’s in Long Island and during long weekend, we cannot find another place to host us as a large group. This is a very terrible experience and she is the worst host I’ve ever met.

This home was listed as a five bedroom!! Due to a error in the description a duplicate of the double room was listed in the photos that went unnoticed for a week. Two of the Guest immediately call us and was very Hostile and wanted to be refunded 100% and still stay at the house . Immediately We called VRVO to help us solve this situation. We refunded them a fair amount and everything appeared to be solved. The house accommodated the number of guests in their Party and they agreed with the refund and stayed for the full duration of their stay . After the guest departed, the guest who booked decided to try and get 100% refund and say they never stayed at the property . Luckily Vrvo had everything documented and the conversation recorded to prove that the did indeed stay. we have been hosting for 15 years and we stride to make everybody stay perfect.

Great Space for Families

Conveniently located home: close to town, minutes away from supermarket, drug store, and tons of restaurants. As mentioned in other reviews, the house was stocked thoughtfully with almost everything you need. We were pleasantly surprised to find cake stands and night lights in rooms/bathrooms! Lots of towels and supplies were provided to make the stay so easy. There was plenty of rooms and space both inside and outside. Outdoor area with gated pool was ideal with kids. Pool was surrounded by greenery that made you feel like you were in a separate space. Clean, finished basement, that appeared new, was definitely a plus! Only caution for families with younger children would be the spiral stairs for both upstairs and basement. Linda was responsive whenever we had questions/concerns. There was a storm the night prior to our arrival so the pool was not as expected but Linda quickly addressed our concerns and had it serviced the next morning. Had a wonderful time!

What a lovely stay we had at Linda's beautiful house!! The house exceeded our expectations! Linda has the home stocked with literally just about anything you could think of! Super clean and organized! Seamless checking/checkout. The pool was clean and heated as we requested. Very spacious and decorated just beautifully! The bonus was the gem of the newly finished basement! Loved the decor! Such a great space! Convenient location overall..we enjoyed the beaches, the wineries and some fabulous restaurants! Best weekend ever!

From the very beginning, Linda was unbelievably accommodating and responsive. The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have needed for our weekend. It was really spacious and more than enough room for 10 people. As mentioned in other reviews, the photos do not do it justice. We spent a lot of our time outside on the deck and in the pool, and even had dinner outside with our private chef, who Linda recommended! The checkout process was a breeze, and allowed us to enjoy our last day without stress. It was a wonderful weekend and we can’t wait to come back! Thanks, Linda!

Great spaces, everything is in good shape. Lots of pool toys and deck furniture. Only drawbacks for little kids is the spiral staircase to access the upstairs bedroom floor. Owner very quick to reply to any inquiry or issues.

Great weekend getaway

Nice house and enjoyable stay

We stayed at Linda’s property with our kids and family. Overall it was a positive experience. Linda had a fully stocked pantry and linen closet which was nice. And the outdoor space is large with plenty of lounge furniture and pool floaties. The re was some confusion at check in, we arrived at 3pm and the cleaning crew was still there and only left at 3:45pm. In addition we had some issues with the pool however, Linda was responsive and called the pool company to stop by and fix the issues. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Bad experience with owner

We arrived early to see if we could put some perishable items in the fridge. We were met by a very nice cleaning lady who said it would be okay if we did that. Around 215pm the owner came and said they were running behind schedule and the house is still being cleaned and check in was not til 3pm. We waited until 3pm and then entered, but the house was still not completely flipped from the previous renters. The owner said we could come in but would have to work around them. After putting away items, I put up some decorations for the weekend. The owner then raised her voice stating it was ‘the most disrespectful thing she has ever seen’ and ‘why would I put scotch tape on the walls of her million dollar home’. She then proceeded to ask me multiple questions about my weekend and my plans and told us ‘she could shut this down right now’ and she has ‘cameras everywhere and will be monitoring us.’ At about 3:40pm she finally decided to exit the house while our group was already there feeling uncomfortable after spending a TON of money to rent this house from 3pm Friday to 11am Sunday. She continued to sit in her car in the driveway for an additional 15-20mins. She messaged me multiple times about people needing to come to this house to check/repair things which is completely inappropriate when you have renters for 2 days. She also said we needed to move 2 cars into the garage, but there was only room for 1. All the garbages were filled to the brim when we got there, and one of the garage spaces was filled with trash and cardboard. I had to personally move this so we could fit another car. All in all, it was a horrible experience with the owner, but the house itself is great for a large group. I have rented multiple houses and have never experienced this sort of treatment. My suggestion is not to rent your home out if you are not comfortable doing so. For the record, we left the house spotless.

While I’m very glad you enjoyed the space for your party, and am very appreciative with the way you left my home, I feel I must share with you that I am having difficulty with some of the feedback you left. I am aware the cleaning lady informed you that you could enter the premises, however you and I had already discussed how due to the COVID-19 pandemic you must wait outside of the home until the check in time of 3:00 PM. This is due to safety precautions for not only your party, but my cleaning staff as well. Further, from my viewpoint taping the walls in my home is not appropriate because it can damage the paint that was recently re-done for this summer season. Lastly, my home was booked for a total of 8 people but the group ended up being much larger than that at around 15 to 20. Overall, I tried to address these concerns at the very beginning of your stay in order to make both your party and myself comfortable, however I felt my concerns were disregarded, leading to an overall disappointing experience.
