Serenity Cabin is one of eight honeymoon cabins available at Golden Anchor Cabins. This cabin is located just two miles south of Canaan Valley Resort and twelve miles south of Blackwater Falls State Park on WV Route 32. Also centrally located for a trip to Seneca Rocks, Seneca Caverns, or Smoke Hole Caverns. We are approximately four miles south of Timberline Mountain (downhill skiing, chair lift rides), and White Grass Cross Country Skiing. With low humidity, and cool comfortable temperatures, the area attracts visitors for outdoor activities year-round. Whether it is hiking, biking, horseback riding, golf, rock climbing, nature viewing, bird watching... this is the place to do it...

We liked the board games and movie assortment, the huuuge windows, and the sledding hill out back was perfect for our young children. We got in the hot tub twice a day and it was perhaps the kids favorite part. The grocery store in Davis is substantial and has everything you need.

Great place to stay!

Just got back from our stay in Canaan Valley. This is a lovely cabin with plenty of room for everyone to stay comfortably. It was very welcoming, clean, and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a big bonus, too! The booking process was easy, as was the check in. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future trips. The proximity to the ski resort was very convenient, too!

Great upgrades

We enjoyed our stay at the Pondview cabin recently. The owners have made improvements since we were here last year. There is a new king size bed and new sofa and chair. The hot tub has a new easier to lift cover and the owners have added a new charcoal grill. It was the perfect family escape from the rat race for just a few days. We will be back in the winter!!
