About the host
Hosted by Jaime Blair

Hi there! We’re the Blairs — a family of six with mostly grown kids, a couple of pets, and a love for travel, connection, and cozy spaces. Hosting has become part of our family story, and we design each home with the kind of comfort and care we’d want on our own getaways.
Our rentals are rooted in the places we love — and the places our kids now call home. It’s our way of staying connected, sharing a piece of our journey, and creating space for yours.

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with downtown Statesville for a lot of reasons. There’s just something special about it — from the summer concerts and friendly faces to the mix of new restaurants and local shops that keep popping up. It has that small-town charm, but with just enough happening to keep things interesting.
Our home is only a half-mile walk from the heart of downtown, so it’s easy to enjoy everything Statesville has to offer — live music, holiday festivals, cozy coffee shops, and more. We also love being close to the state park, which gives us the best of both worlds: a quiet spot to recharge and a fun town to explore.
Renovating this historic home was a passion project for us. We wanted to keep its character while making it warm and comfortable for guests. It’s our way of sharing a little piece of the Statesville magic — and we hope you love it here as much as we do.

What makes this property unique
Built in the 1920s, this home is full of little details that tell a story — from the original door knobs to the beautifully preserved hardwood floors. Even though it’s a single-level ranch, the 9-foot ceilings give it an open, airy feel that makes it anything but ordinary.
One of our favorite spots? The sunroom. We call it the best seat in the house — it’s surrounded by windows, perfect for sipping coffee, reading, or just soaking in the light.
We've updated the home to include some modern luxuries while keeping some historic character. The primary bathroom has a spacious double shower and dual vanities, and the kitchen is fully equipped for anything from a quick breakfast to a cozy dinner.
You’ll also find handy extras like a full laundry room, starter cleaning supplies, and a few thoughtful touches to make your stay more comfortable. And honestly, the neighbors are a big part of what makes this place special — they're some of the kindest people we’ve ever met.
This isn’t just a house — it’s a little piece of Statesville’s story.
