Justin’s place was the perfect location for us. We were in town for a wedding at Bay Point Woods, which was just 8 minutes up the road. The house is very clean and decorated so nice. We would recommend staying here and would rebook again.

It was a perfect “sisters” trip. Conveniently located for a day trip to Saugatuck as well as a quick drive to the beach.The place was immaculate and well appointed with everything that we needed. We loved the hot tub!We would definitely stay there again.

This is the 3rd or 4th time staying in this house. We are in the area to visit family so can’t speak to the amenities. We do see a fully stocked kitchen and love the bathroom things. They supply towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner. The shower is wonderful. Lots of hot water. It’s right next to an excellent restaurant that is surprisingly quiet. The host, Justin is nice and responsive. He’s great to work with. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we are down in the Shelbyville area.

Overall, a really nice little rental in a great location. Our only complaints were that one of the mattresses was extremely hard and that the hot tub didn’t seem to get very hot, but honestly the house was otherwise perfect and pristine. The sound machines and charger cables in each room were a nice touch. I would advise switching out the shear curtains in the bedroom windows with something that will actually block the lights for the street and neighbors, however.

Thank you for choosing our house and for sharing what you enjoyed. We appreciate your feedback and we continue to always make improvements. The hot tub should easily get to 105°. Most people have to turn it down when they arrive. We set it at about 100 so each guest can adjust the temperature to their liking. We have not had any complaints about the mattress. We purchased both of them new over two years ago.

We have stayed at this house the past couple years. Cute amd clean place. Justin(host) is excellent with communication (usually within a few minutes. However, we were sad when we were planning on booking again for next year that the nightly rate had more than doubled(increase of more than 200/night). Very upset that we will have to look for another place when this had been the perfect spot.

I love this house. This is my second time here but not my last. Justin is so easy to work with. Very quick to respond. We are in the area to visit family so we don’t cook there but it seems well stocked should we choose to. Love the shower and the beds. The place is quiet. Highly recommend.

Everything was wonderful. Justin was great at answering all our questions and for his recommendations. Thank you for recommending Russo's. Excellent food, especially their pizza and cheese sticks. The house was very neat and tidy. It was fully equipped with pots, pans, and utensils if you choose not to go out and eat. It was definitely a needed get away and if we come back to Gun Lake, we would love to stay here again.

This was the perfect location and accommodation for my husband and I for short get away. Very clean and comfortable and well stocked with everything you could want or need. The hot tub works great and was clean and the beds are really comfortable and entire place is decorated really nicely. Location was great for doing day trips to explore Grand Rapids, Holland and Saugatuck and the casino is just minutes away. Justin was very responsive and check in was easy too. Definitely recommend!!

Stay at Gun Lake

My stay at The Cove Near Gun Lake was excellent. The house was spacious and clean, and had all of the amenities one could ask for. The beds were very comfortable, and AC worked perfectly when it was hot out. If you're looking for a nice place to stay in the Gun Lake area this is a very good option.

Nice Stay

Great little space for three. Came up for a wedding that was held at Baypoint Resort (about 7 min drive from us).The home was nicely accommodated. The beds we comfy. No strange smells and place was clean. Owner Justin was easy to work with and helpful. Definitely recommend a stay here for a small group.
