About this property

Feel at home, a few blocks from downtown Sidney and beach

Snow birds and travelers who want a quiet self contained suite! Our spacious and completely outfitted guest accommodation will feel like home away from home. It's in a prime location within one block of the beach and the main street of the quaint town of Sidney. Our large studio suite contains new quality contemporary furniture and has a good quality sofa bed for one extra person if needed. You will love the new comfortable bed and recliner chair while you watch your 40 inch flat screen TV. The bed area is partitioned off with curtains if desired.

The full kitchen has everything you need but if you don't feel like cooking there are a variety of restaurants and coffee shops a short walk away. The suite has a full bathroom and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. Our Arts and Crafts home is close to the Sidney-Anacortes ferry terminal, BC Ferries and the Victoria airport. The famous Butchart Gardens is close by and the beautiful city of Victoria is within a short drive or bus ride. You will be welcome to enjoy our small garden patio if you wish, some steps to the suite entrance are required.
You will love this self contained, self catered, private guest suite that is a comfortable vacation home perfect for short or longer stays.

Although there were some cleanliness issues left over from a previous tenant when we first arrived they were quickly solved and Tony was so easy to talk to and open to solutions. The apartment is larger than we expected and had everything we needed. Great position for accessing all Sidney has to offer.

A delightful suite in a perfect location!

A great spot! The suite is clean, really well equipped and beautifully located near the waterfront and all the shops and cafés of Sidney. Tony and Sandy give you your privacy but are easily reached and happy to help with anything you may need. I'd love to stay again and hope they have space when I'm next in Sidney.

The apartment is nicely furnished and decorated and very well thought out. We enjoyed the garden, the easy walk to downtown and the quiet of the area. It is a beautiful place and our hosts were great. Sandy even placed a bouquet of flowers in the apartment for us because it was our anniversary. We will return and gladly recommend it to others.

Everything anyone could want in a guest suite.

The suite was extremely comfortable. The owners clearly have the comfort of guest in mind as they provide hooks for rain gear and spare unbrellas by the door, a comforter for napping, ample linens, a well equipped kitchen, and a shoe wrack and hooks near a heater for drying. It's these small things, in combination with proximity to shopping and the seaside, that make this guest suite stand out. I would definitely stay here again.

A great bright, quiet studio, larger than photos. Excellent directions; easy to locate address. Super clean. Everything you need for a long stay: fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed & pillows, lots of hot water, hair dryer, iron & ironing board. Excellent wifi, dependable and easy to access. Cozy Suite

Sure enjoyed staying at the suite. It was clean & comfortable. Wonderful spot for walks along the ocean. Close to all coffee shops, restaurants, shopping & grocery stores. Tony & Sandy were always helpful with any questions or things we needed. Couldn’t of asked for better hosts. We will be back.

Hidden Gem

Sandy and Tony have created a wonderful, comfortable guest apartment with absolutely everything you need for short or longer stay in beautiful Sidney!! The location is perfect for relaxing strolls along the seawall or visiting local shops, restaurants, museums etc. And it's only a short drive into Victoria. Communication was prompt and our hosts were accommodating with every request. We hate to leave!!

Sweet little Suite!

This was one sweet little suite in Sidney, BC! I stayed there over the Christmas holidays and it was really a great experience. It started with the home backed sweets that the owners left for me and the TV turned on to the 'fire log' channel! It is new, clean and a great design and use of space. It is three blocks from main street and well situated. It was warm and comfortable and the owners were great to deal with. I would definitely stay there again if I was back in Sidney.

This is a wonderful place to stay. It has everything in the suite that one needs and the description and pictures shown were entirely accurate. The suite was excellently maintained and very clean. Sandra and Tony were excellent hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The bonus was the suite's location as once here we didn't really need the car unless one wanted to go farther afield than Sydney. The bus to Victoria and the ferry is easily accessible. Charming and quiet

Our time here was very restful and calming. The suite was fresh, nicely decorated and quite charming. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our hosts went out of their way to help with anything that they could such as tips on sights, providing us with maps and ferry information. They were ever so kind to print us up a map for the best way back to the mainland and then to SeaTac airport. Sydney is a wonderful quiet and charming village with everything within easy walking distance. You will have a wonderful time!

Sidney Wedding

We were in Sidney for a family wedding and decided to extend our holiday for a few more days. We were very happy with this choice as it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It is a basement suite however there was lots of light and the cooler space was appreciated during the hot summer days. Our son also joined us for 2 nights and used the sofa hide-a-bed. We'd highly recommend this property to others.

Lovely Basement Studio in Sidney

We booked this studio suite for a whole month, it was very clean and had everything that we needed, full well equipped Kitchen, very nice bathroom, very comfortable queen bed with great bedding and Towels. There were even bath robes. It is a basement suite so some stairs to go down to get there but separate entrance and private. There was a good parking place for our car on the driveway. Excellent location in the middle of Sidney most places (shopping, restaurants, coffee shops etc.) are within walking distance and only a block an a half to the seaside. Very close to Victoria Airport and only 10 minutes to the ferry terminal. Tony and Sandy were great to deal with and we would definitely go back if we go to Sidney again.

We are a partly retired couple with grown children. We lived in this area for many years where we raised our children and now are happy to share our suite with you. Sandy works as a home based travel agent so is available to help with travel plans and suggestions. We enjoy meeting our lovely guests and sharing our beautiful town and island.

Why they chose this property

Our home has a self contained suite that is perfect as a base to the Victoria area. The town of Sidney is becoming very desirable do to its many restaurants, shops and activities.

What makes this property unique

Being close to the ocean and the lovely walking trail by the beach is a bonus. Explore the new Ocean Discovery Center and visit many top quality shops and services within walking distance. We even have a small friendly movie theatre in our town that shows first run movies and cultural events! We are located on a residential street so you will become part of our local neighbourhood. You are only a short drive from top quality visitor attractions like world renownd Butchart Gardens and the fabulous BC Museum of Natural History. If you like hiking, we are near many beautiful nature trails for your enjoyment, there is something for everyone! We will assist you in finding activities that will make your stay memorable. You will love the mild coastal weather of Sidney by the Sea!
