We’re always open to guest feedback, but it's important to provide some clarity here. Our listing clearly states that the building is undergoing exterior maintenance. This includes painting and, at times, balcony work like drilling—but it is done in phases. At the time of this guest’s stay, their stack was not being worked on. We’ve also adjusted our pricing to fairly reflect any potential inconvenience, and many other guests have had positive experiences during this period, with several even extending their stays. While there was construction at the complex, there was no construction on her specific unit. This guest reached out during their stay and we responded promptly. Though the unit wasn’t directly impacted, we still extended a courtesy gesture—which is not something we normally do. Guest had a good time, did not want to leave, yet wanted a huge refund. We take pride in being transparent, responsive, and providing quality stays—and we encourage future guests to read our listing carefully and reach out with any questions before booking.
