At an elevation of 9,000+ feet, the air is clean and crisp, the stars close, and the views are breathtaking.
Our home is a truly charming place best shared with family and friends.
Unpack your bags and settle in for your relaxing get-away in this 1800+ square foot luxury cabin built in 2009. Only minutes away from the Giant Steps and Navajo ski lodges/areas, our cabin is centrally located in Brian Head Town directly across (west) from the Giant Steps main chair lift overlooking the Brian Head valley. You will treasure the splendor of the spectacular Southern Utah weather throughout the year. The cool summer days offer a well-deserved retreat from the desert heat, while the sunny and colder days of winter produce an average of 300 inches of fresh snow annually offering the best powder skiing in Southern Utah.
Accessible all year long, this three-story mountain cabin offers a large and open floorplan providing plenty of space and sleeping quarters to accommodate/entertain a family or groups of 10 to 12. The main level (second floor) includes the main family room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, under a 25-foot wood-lined vaulted ceiling and an east facing wall of glass windows with unbelievable views. Also on this floor, is the master bedroom (queen bed), master bath (Jacuzzi tub), and a second half bath equipped with a washer and dryer. As you enter our cabin, the first floor includes a family room equipped with a leather couch/convertible queen bed, a 42-inch HDTV and DVD player (perfect for the kids to watch movies/play video games), and another guest bedroom with a queen bed. The third floor (loft) is open to the main floor residence and includes a separate loft with large bean bag chair, small library and games, 2 guest bedrooms (1 double bed and 1 queen bed) and a full bathroom.
An outdoor deck (accessible from the second-level) offers an additional 150 square feet of outdoor living space and spectacular and unobstructed views of the surrounding area. From the deck, or sitting in the main family room, you will feel like you’re standing on the mountain.
Whether relaxing in front of the stone fireplace and enjoying the incredible views, or rejuvenating your tired muscles in the Jacuzzi tub, you can’t help feeling pampered. Because we offer a new and clean 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath mountain cabin, fully furnished with cooking, drinking and eating ware, clean linens, soaps and paper products, in a secluded setting, convenient year round, comfortable and luxurious vacation living … we believe our home is one of the best values on the mountain.
Brian Head is close to Zion National Park (85 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (60 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (7 miles), and Capitol Reef National Park (157 miles), making it an ideal central location to spend a few days to a week visiting Southern Utah's most majestic national parks. Cedar City is only a 30 minute drive down the mountain and is host to the nationally acclaimed Utah Shakespeare Festival plus many other activities.

About the host
Hosted by Mike

We live in Las Vegas and love outdoor sports and spending time with our children. The first time we visited Brian Head in 2009, we fell in love with the community and all that it offers throughout the year. Only a three hour drive from Las Vegas, we spend as much time in Brian Head as possible, especially during the summer and ski season. Our boys love to fish and snowboard and we enjoy some of the best trout fishing and powder skiing and snowboarding in Southern Utah.
Why they chose this property
After spending 26 years in the US Air Force traveling to many different countries, we knew what we wanted in a second home ... a quaint and friendly community, summer and winter outdoor activities, and a vacation home we could use over a 2-day weekend. Brian Head offers all of this and more.
What makes this property unique
Our mountain cabin offers quite and secluded relaxation with our family and friends. We especially enjoy waking up to a hot cup of coffee and watching the sun rise over the Brian Head summit; we enjoy the cool temperatures of summer and the sunny winter days on the slopes; we enjoy the fact that we can drop our boys at the ski lift in the morning and pick them up in the afternoon, and not have to worry about where they are, or what they are doing; and we enjoy the wonderful people who call Brian Head home year round.
