Why they chose this property
Thank you for booking The Bay House.
Have you ever been to Panama City? If not, I’d like to give you a few tips but if you have, When you walk out the main gate of The Bay House, you will notice that you are on Drake Ave. If you turn to the right and walk two blocks, you will see a beautiful lake on the right, past the lake, turn right again, and within a block, you will see the famous Hunt’s Oyster Bar on your left, world-famous for oysters any style. Across on the right, you will see Little Village, with shops and the highly acclaimed Finn’s Caribbean cuisine. If you look straight ahead, you will see Uncle Ernies, the local's favorite restaurant and bar, where every seat has a water view (great for watching the sunset). If you turn to the left and walk a few more blocks, you will see the Oaks on the Bay Park, known for its boardwalk to the waterfront and its farmer’s market on Saturdays. To the right of the park Is Amivida, an amazing coffee shop with fresh pastries and the most amazing coffee. Grab a coffee and take just a few steps to the marina, where you can enjoy the water views. If you happen to stop by in the late afternoon, you can see the local fishermen unload their catch. You could even rent a kayak or two from the nearby shop called Sun Jammers and launch it right at the marina. Also, on the main street is The Slice House, amazing pizza, and it’s connected to the Burgun Barrel, a wine bar featuring velvet couches and live music. If pizza is not your style, just a few steps away is a famous Mexican restaurant called Los Anjitos, and a few more steps, and you reach the Copper Tap Grill (all sorts of food choices), or Enzo’s pizza is on the corner featuring Italian food with a quaint outdoor seating area. From Enzo’s, turn right and walk a few blocks, and you are right back to Drake Ave with The Bay House on the left. Lots to do in our charming little town (and I didn’t name them all, like the museum, walking tours, and boutiques).
