This bright, sunny Ranch on quiet Dean Road is perfect for creating family memories. The home has 3 cozy bedrooms, a naturally lit sunroom with large windows, an open kitchen and dining area, and a comfortable living room with space for all to relax and re-energize. The house has only one floor making it accessible for all. Our home sits on 1.25 acres with plenty of room for a corn hole game or throwing around a frisbee. The yard is surrounded by oak trees and flowering plants.
Our lovely home is only a 10-minute walk to Long Sands Beach, Stones Throw Restaurant, Long Sands General Store, and the iconic Blinky Cone ice cream shop. It is centrally located between RT 1 and RT 1a (Long Sands road) putting you close to Long Sands Beach and all it has to offer. There are plenty of options for the logistics of your beach day. From the house you can easily walk to Long Sands Beach or you can drive and find easy parking closer, call the York Beach Buggy, and enjoy a golf cart taxi for a cheap ride. There are plenty of food and entertainment options close by that are off the beach as well. Lobster in the Rough, a great outdoor drinking hole, is about .75 miles away and has live music and games. Right across the road from them is Southern Maine Lobster Company which sells lobsters caught off their boat. Short Sands Beach is also about a mile away from the house and has convenient parking options. Short Sands has a playground, lots of shops and restaurants, Yorks Wild Kingdom, and the York Beach Beer Company for those looking for a local brewery.
The Bedrooms all have plenty of space with burrows and closets with space for storage. They all have beautiful hardwood floors. The first bedroom has 2 twin beds, a desk, a 42” TV (new 2024), and a mini-split for both heat and AC. The second bedroom has a king bed (new in 2024), 2 dressers, a mini-split, and built-in shelves in the closet. The third bedroom has a king bed (new in 2024) two end tables with LED lighting, a dresser, a mini-split, and built-in shelves for the closet. Pictures of all of the bedrooms as well as all other rooms of the house are provided.
The bathroom has a new quartz countertop and a shower-tub combo. Laundry detergent is provided for your convenience.
The living room is bright and partially open to the kitchen and dining area. The living room has two couches with one of them being a sofa bed. The family will find games and a large 65” TV (new in 2024) to enjoy after a day at the beach. The TV is a smart TV with cable and over 100 channels to surf.
The kitchen has an expanded quartz countertop/island, dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, and many small appliances (new in 2023/2024) for the family to enjoy meals together inside or out. Dishwasher detergent is provided as well as cleaning supplies if needed.
The sunroom is like a second living room with comfortable furniture, a 42” TV (new in 2024), and a closable door to the kitchen for privacy to watch a movie or use an air mattress for an additional sleeping area. This will be a room everyone will want to hang out in with so many windows all around.
The home has a deck, patio, and a small porch outback for complete privacy. The deck has a table for 6, a new grill, and a gas fire pit. The yard features flower beds, and 1.25 acres of space for games and family fun. There is plenty of parking available as there is room for over six cards in the driveway. The shed houses some beach must-haves such as small and large coolers, some beach games, a beach buggy, and plenty of chairs.
