Welcome to your ocean-view Caribbean home away from home at Point Pleasant Resort, E1.

This newly renovated romance ocean-view suite offers free 100mb Wi-Fi, a private near-water-level setting, and beautiful views of Water Bay for a relaxing St. Thomas getaway. Ideal for couples or solo travelers, E1 sleeps up to 2 guests and is located just steps from Sugar Beach and close to the Waterfront Pool, creating an easy and memorable island stay.

The suite features a king bed, a single hideaway bed, two reading chairs, a sofa, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and an indoor dining table with seating for 2. Three sets of sliding glass doors lead out to the large wraparound balcony from both the bedroom and living area, filling the suite with natural light and bringing the views front and center. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, convection microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove, blender, and the basic cookware needed for in-suite meals.

E1 is located in the lower section of the resort, close to Sugar Beach and the Waterfront Pool. The Hilltop Pool is also available at the top of the resort. Parking is located near the entrance of the building, and the suite requires a few steps down to enter. Point Pleasant Resort is approximately 8 miles from the airport. Rental cars are recommended for guests who want to explore the island, though taxis are often available near the lobby. Shuttle service also operates from the lobby throughout the 15-acre property from 8:00 AM to 12:00 AM daily. The resort is close to Coki Beach, Coral World Ocean Park and Aquarium, the ferry to St. John, and Magens Bay.

While island-wide power interruptions may occasionally occur, the resort is protected by a full-property backup generator system designed to keep guest units and essential resort services operating smoothly, including water, internet/Wi-Fi, restaurants, laundry facilities, and resort operations. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, and smoking is prohibited in public areas and inside condominium units. We also recommend purchasing “cancel for any reason” travel insurance for added peace of mind.

This is a perfect place for a couple. It is small and cozy. The views are amazing as you can see other islands, wildlife including sea turtles and beautiful water. There’s a small beach that is literally a minute walk down the path. This room also gives a great view of the sunrise.

Good location for snorkelling (which is the main reason for our trip). You are close to Coki, Sapphire and Hidden Beaches. These are some of the best snorkel areas. You are also very close to the Auto Ferry to get to St. John… YOU WILL WANT TO GO TO THERE!

Comfortable Bed, but the bathroom is very small and the screens on the sliding doors were ripped and did not slide very well. Lots of steps to walk from one place to another around the resort. It is peaceful and quiet.

This unit (E1) seems like the best unit at Pleasant Point. Unobstructed view, big 2-sided porch, privacy, right next to a small beach which is basically private for you bc few people visit it. King size bed. Couch area was cool. AC worked well.

Loved the resort.

Room was good , the views are what really make it worth renting. It was nice to have 3 walls of slidong glass doors as there was a constant breeze the entire week we were there. Plus the short walk from our room to the private beach was amazing. A little disappointed the was no oven or grill, but not a huge deal. There were some minor issues with the pull stopper in the bathroom sink being broken, the ceiling fan above the bed if you turned it on more than low, the whole thing shook from side to side, the light above the cooktop also didn't work, and the tile in the shower could use some changing of the floor tiles. All the staff at the resort though were very pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again even with the few minor issues. The bed was super comfy

Amazing 25th Anniversary Vacation

We loved our unit and stay at Point Pleasant! E1’s is located in the very last unit which meant we had amazing views and our unit was private and perfect for celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We loved watching the staff at Coral World feed the dolphins every morning from our balcony, with the binoculars we brought. It was easy to catch a cab into Red Hook for dinner and happy hour. A very special “Thank you” to Coya in the office for making our trip extra special! You made us feel like family and are very thankful for everything you’ve done for us. We are already talking about planning our next trip to St. Thomas and Point Pleasant.

Our unit was in a good location- private and close to the private beach. Overall pros and cons Pros: private unit, enough parking, views, evening breeze, peaceful, able to hear the waves, ice chest to use at the beach. Cons: unit had bubbles under the paint near ceiling a/c unit, no beach chairs, bathroom fan did not work and no window for ventilation, sliding glass doors hard to open/close, screen doors very difficult to slide and close- leaving gaps for bugs to come in, couch cushion stains. Pool- open. Not inviting. Outdated. Did not use and did not see anyone else using either. Location- good. Close to Red Hook and 2 good beaches. Sapphire/Lindquist. Overall- it was an ok experience.

30th Anniversary Trip

We loved the property and the location! The staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. We didn’t get to stay in the original unit we booked (E1) due to water issues, but they set us up in B6 and it was a great unit. The bed was comfortable however lower to the floor than we like. Also the bed room could use some curtains to help block morning light for those morning’s you want to sleep in. The binds didn’t help block light out. Also, the furniture all around is nice, but worn in & dated, that includes the outdoor furniture. Each unit had different set up, so this just applies to the unit we stayed in. We used the kitchen several times and it had almost everything we needed to cook our full meals. The unit was very clean when we arrived. The Views are amazing from this property! The pools were nice to cool off in, we went into 2 out of 3 of them. We ate at both the Sun & Sea Bar & Grill and the Restaurant Ocean 180, the bar & grill is just “ok”, the restaurant was fantastic! We would stay here again!

Point pleasant resort was incredible ! We arrived at the guard gate and instantly felt safe St Thomas I’m general is an extremely safe island for people looking to bring their family. We where directed to the Lobby and arrived 4 hours earlier and the staff was so kind as to accommodate us for an early check in . We stayed on the water Next to sugar beach. Probably the best illistration of a property I have ever stayed in. Beyond our expectation . Very clean , very friendly staff! We will be back!
