We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a quaint little place to stay, we highly recommend staying here. It was very clean and the owners were so gracious. We plan to go back again. Thank you, Bob and Sue for everything
The apartment was lovely, with many thoughtful touches, located in a perfect spot for us to explore the area, from kayaking on Pine Lake, dining at Blue Stem, seeing Rent at the Barne Theater, to seeing the local car show, visiting Leila Arboretum and shopping at Horrocks! Our hosts went above and beyond to communicate all we needed to know as well as answer any questions/provide information about what we hoped to do. (Boat Launch location, theater offerings, etc)We would highly recommend this property!
The Cottage Apartment was very clean and charming. The host was very easy to communicate with. My sister and I had a wonderful, relaxing time and would not change a thing. Thank you Sue for providing this opportunity to unwind. Will be returning.
This is a beautiful cottage, the hosts were very prompt and helpful with any questions I had. The cottage is very clean and decorated nicely, they offer a lot of little extras which were appreciated. I would definitely stay here again and you will not be disappointed if you book a stay with them.
This place was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room, and lots of extras....wine, cheese, snacks, breakfast food. Lots of vintage charm! We would definitely stay again
Melissa and her husband were wonderful guests! They were quiet, respect of our property, communicated very well through texting and followed house rules. I highly recommend them to other hosts and she is welcome back anytime she is in the area.

This was a very cozy place to stay. Sue made us feel very welcome with cheese, crackers and 2 bottles of wine when we arrived. We had a big variety of items to choose for breakfast as well. Sue went above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay there again!
First time renting a place other than a motel. It was so much better! Sue was very responsive to any questions I had and the cottage was very clean. I would highly recommend this place and more than likely stay there again.

Thanks so much for choosing to stay with us and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay! Your kind words are very much appreciated and we hope to see you again in the future when you come to visit family in the area.
This is apartment above garage - it was very clean, AC units in the rooms to keep cool and it is well decorated and very cute. Extra twin blow up if needed in living room. Host was very helpful - I would stay again if in the area.
This was really a lovely little apartment. It was nice to see the deer and other critters in the woods looking out the kitchen window. The only downside was it was a little drafty, but it is an older building so that wasn’t surprising. The heat worked great thought despite the really cold weather! The location, apartment decor, the welcome amenities from the owner were all really nice and welcoming. A real home away from home! Thank you!

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay in our vintage guest department! This apartment is typically not drafty, but as you mentioned, it was significantly below zero at night during your stay. The apartment does have a great furnace that keeps it plenty warm in the cold weather. We hope you will come and stay with us again in the future!
My husband, adult son and I stayed for just the one night while travelling.Sue was very pleasant to deal with and most helpful with all our queries. We loved the guest cottage, it was immaculately clean with all kinds of homey touches. We really appreciated the welcome basket and the breakfast items in the fridge. The main bed was wonderfully comfortable too. Hopefully we will see you again!
We really enjoyed our two-night stay at Sue and Bob's. The apartment was much roomier than expected from the photos and was super clean with great decor. The vintage kitchen was so much fun and it's fully stocked; we were able to easily prepare meals bringing only the ingredients! The beds are comfy. The apartment feels like a treehouse, it was so much fun sitting on the balcony. We also enjoyed the bird-watching from the gazebo at the back of the property. Sue and Bob were very friendly and respectful hosts. We're trying to think of an excuse to come back again!
This second story cottage is clean, bright, and full of vintage charm. It overlooks a private yard with beautiful landscaping in the picturesque town of Olivet.
The owners Sue and Bob are thoughtful and gracious hosts. They thought of everything you may need to make your stay comfortable. There was a handy house manual on the kitchen table as well as some lovely treats to enjoy during our stay. My husband and I felt right at home.
We would happily stay here again, only next time I hope I get the chance to visit with their Labrador puppy, Sherlock.
I wanted a weekend getaway and chose this cottage because of its location. It was so close to antique stores and Horrocks that we picked Olivet, and I'm glad we did. The cottage was incredibly cute and relaxing. Upon arrival, we found a lovely wine basket filled with cheese and crackers. The cupboards were stocked with everything we needed to prepare dinner or breakfast. The bedsheets were soft and clean, and the shower was amazing, featuring a huge shower head. Sue did a marvelous job providing details about the area and instructions on how to care for her place. This cottage exceeded any other place we have ever stayed!
This property is exactly as described. It is very clean. It's nicely decorated. The host had excellent communication throughout the entire transaction. In addition to all this the host very generously supplied extras, like nice soaps, wine, milk, and much more. I am a very picky person and I would highly recommend this cozy getaway.
A cozy cottage vibe to be sure! Very clean. Has window units for A/C. Had a lot of communication about the host’s dog and being careful when entering and leaving the property so we didn’t run it over.
The cottage retreat is simply beautiful. It is furnished with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The hosts were friendly, easy to reach, and accommodating. They provided us with a wine, cheese and crackers basket and above and beyond that, had left us with provisions for breakfast during our stay. We even got to meet their awesome dog. I would definitely recommend this as a great spot to stay to get away and relax that is close everything.
