Palisades-Alpine Home w/ Hot Tub

Fully furnished 4-bedroom cabin home that is a ~10-minute drive to Lake Tahoe, Tahoe City, and Palisades. It has a hot tub, fully-equipped kitchen, fast WIFI, smart speakers / Home Assistant, and Chromecast for the TVs.

There are hiking, mountain biking, and backcountry ski trails accessible around the block from the house. We have extra bike hooks and ski racks for your gear in the house and can provide advice on places to go.

Upstairs:

Downstairs

- Hot tub is available for enjoyment all year
- Deck furniture outside during summer months

Televisions
- We have Chromecasts setup so you can use almost any streaming subscription service on your phone and cast it to a TV.

Parking Space
- 4 available parking spaces (2 inside the garage and 2 on the driveway)
- we hire driveway plow service for the winter season and snowstorms

Water
- Tahoe tap is one of the best in the country

No Cats Allowed:
Sorry, we are allergic and would like to keep the furniture free of cat dander and fur. Thanks for understanding!

Dogs:
We only host dogs that are house-trained/potty-trained to ensure we can care for our home and host future guests comfortably. If an accident does happen, please clean up and notify us immediately. We keep carpet stain removers in the half-bath. If you cannot completely remove stains from the carpet, we may need to charge an extra fee for carpet cleaning.

In terms of getting around Tahoe, you will need a car. There are 4 parking spaces at the house (2 in the garage, 2 in the driveway).

Summertime:
Okay to park on the road.

Wintertime:
Please avoid parking on the road since the plow may hit and damage or vehicle, and it's against local ordinances. There is a cool free shuttle service that will pick you up at the house and drive you to the resort on weekends. (You just need to download the "Mountaineer" app).

You will have access to the entire house, including the hot tub and the Traeger grill. Please read the instructions for the use and care of each on our online house manual (QR code available at the house).

We'll be away, traveling, during your stay but you can text or call us whenever you have questions.

10-minute drive to Tahoe city
20-minute drive to Truckee

If you need to make space for trash, you can put it in the bear bin at the driveway. But this is not required for checking out. Please make sure the trash bin is shut properly at all times to keep bears and other wildlife away.
Parking:
There are 2 garage parking spots and 2 driveway parking spots. Parking is not allowed on the street during November to May winter season.

To be considerate of neighbors, please keep noise and sound to a minimum after 10:00 pm.

Hot tub on the deck:
Feel free to enjoy it whenever you would like. But to be considerate of neighbors and families who live nearby, we hope you can keep the noise to a minimum after 10:00 pm. Sound travels easily at night from our deck.

Smoking:
You can smoke only outside the house, on the deck or at the balcony. Please make sure to use the ashtray outside to help keep the area clean.

Guests:
If you're thinking about inviting friends over, please reach out and ask us. We're easygoing about inviting a couple of friends over for brunch or dinner, but we want to be considerate of other neighbors in case you are thinking of inviting more than a couple of friends.

Kitchen:
Please wash all used pots, pans, and kitchen knives by hand.

Checkout:
Please throw dirty dishes into the dishwasher and start the cleaning cycle on Auto (the dishwasher detergent is under the sink).
Make sure all windows and doors are closed before you leave.
