The surfside condo is very nice, we had a good time in Old Orchard. The location was excellent...kind of away from the madness of the pier area, and located in a quieter area. The views are great...I would say out of all the 2nd floor condos, it's probably the best view because the two houses in front of it are only 1 story, whereas all the others are 2 and 3 stories. It's super close to the beach...30 second walk tops...didn't need to bother with the beach cart. The condo itself is in good condition, clean, bright and updated. The only drawback is the living/kitchen area is very small...I knew it was going to be small...but smaller than I expected it to be, so I give it a 5 star with that one caveat. Fridge is also small...so when planning groceries, be aware of that. We were two adults and two basically adult teens, and it was tight...good thing the bedrooms were a good size....but you're there for the beach!! The pool area is nice...certainly warmer than the ocean was!

The condo was very clean but smaller than we imagined. Fridge was small and froze some things unexpectedly so we had to turn it down. We had company a day or 2 but condo is better for just a couple or one small child. The deck/ walkway is common so people are constantly walking by and kids from other condos were constantly running back and forth. Host was very accomadating and had great communication to answer our questions.
