Beautiful scenery very peaceful. Not too family friendly. Had to be poolside or upstairs. The entire living space is upstairs. I have a disabled family member that we had to almost carry up the stairs. No convenient restroom near the pool. Very remote, need to plan on not going to the store through your trip. I may have missed all that in the ad. Seems like I got all the information after I booked.

Hi Rori! Thank you for your feedback. We’re so glad you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and peaceful setting! We’re sorry the home’s layout wasn’t the best fit for your group’s needs. As noted in our listing, all of the home’s living space is located on the second level and requires 17 steps. The listing also notes that the property sits on 47 acres approximately 13 miles from Round Top, accessible via a longer dirt road. We strive to be as transparent as possible by including these details in our listing before booking so guests can make the best decision for their group’s needs. We truly appreciate your stay and thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback!

Girls’ getaway

Absolutely fabulous new rental. Everything was immaculately clean and perfectly decorated. Beds were so comfortable and plush. Waking up to see the deer in the field was a real treat. Only wish it had been warm enough to get in the pool. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful place with us.
