Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Mimi Mooers
Rick, Mimi, Colin and Riley Mooers and also Mimi's mom, Sharon Musetti are the owners of these cabins. Mimi and Sharon have had several years experience running and cleaning cottages. Mimi's husband, Rick, and children, Riley and Colin, have come into the business in recent years but have stepped up and have allowed the rentals to run as family owned and operated.
Why they chose this property
You can sit on the porch and watch seals, porpoises, and loons play in the water in front of the cottage. You are so close to the water, when sitting inside in the living room, you get the feeling you are on a boat, because at high tide you don't see land, and water surrounds you.
What makes this property unique
From the sun coming over the mountains to the spectacular views of Somes Sound, a photo does not give the beauty of the surroundings that Seaweed has to offer.
