About this property

This is a very beautiful property. Quiet and tranquil but still in the heart of Hackney - a newly very fashionable district of Inner London. A large modern kitchen with all appliances, solid wooden floors, beautiful views and artwork, period features, beautiful garden and garden guesthouse.
Guests have access to the whole apartment which comprises 2 internal bedrooms (one very large), expansive open plan living/dining area and a large private garden with guesthouse, which doubles up as a third bedroom.
The property is within a ten minute walk from two stations on the London tube network (Hackney Downs and Hackney Central) from where all of London is easily accessible
There are 4 double beds available. This property is ideal for up to 5 people.
We will usually welcome you ourselves and then go traveling (often to our home in Rio) but we have house managers who live in the same building that can provide ongoing support

Hackney Holiday

This property is a comfortable and well-apportioned home with an incredible garden, a very cute back cottage, and an adorable resident cat named Violet. Host was very friendly and accessible and check-out was a breeze. Loved the park opposite!

Nice stay outside the core of the city

Cute place. Fun art. Family enjoyed. We loved Violet the cat. There is a fox that likes to visit. My teens enjoyed staying in the small cottage in the garden. Nearby (10 min) train easy to use and get into town.

Beautiful Stay in London

We loved staying here. The windows in back and the garden were amazing. Would definitely stay here again! Phillip was very kind and quick to respond to all communications.

Fantastic

A gorgeous home and garden, with a darling kitty (if you like). We loved staying here so much—it was at the end of our trip and it truly felt like an oasis at the end of a lot of fun, but tiring travel. Philip was a most excellent host and made sure all was well. Located close to bus stop and train station, and loved the pub down the street.

London - When we are in Brazil or elsewhere we let out our London home. This is a very special property with great energy and beautiful light and views out over gardens and park. I have owned this house for 30 years - when I bought it Hackney was quite rough - it is now transformed into the coolest place in London!. I was lucky and we hope that you will enjoy it too.
If we do not welcome you ourselves which we prefer to do we have a house manager who lives in another part of the property and will help you to settle in, arrange keys etc.

What makes this property unique

This property is very special. It has great energy and although situated in Central London is very peaceful with a walled garden filled with birds and fish and a large park in front.
It works ideally for a family that want to go into the town centre and come back to a very peaceful and private space. We have a cat and encourage wildlife - foxes, birds, fish and so is a great choice for nature lovers - again providing a contrast with the big city all around. we have also filled the house with original artwork that we hope others will find stimulating and interesting
The configuration of the property allows for friends or family members to have privacy, but also to come together
