Perfect house for 5 people, we loved having a bathroom for each bedroom! Cute house with plenty of space to hang out and a good layout where everyone's bedrooms felt separate but we could still congregate downstairs. I won't knock stars off for this but the house is clearly well-used, as in the couch has clearly been used for several years and the walls could use another coat of paint. BUT the beds and pillows and linens were so comfy, more than enough towels and very nice modern bathrooms.
This place exceeded our expectations! The home was located in a nice quiet neighborhood which offered several fun places to enjoy within a short walking distance. We had no trouble unloading or parking. The home was decorated in a very comfortable homey southwest feel which we loved. There was plenty of space to feel privacy, but still close together. The bathrooms were a nice size and very comfortable. Great shower pressure which was a nice bonus! The beds were very comfortable, too. Our hosts were in contact and available the entire stay in case of any issues. Our favorite part was the private patio in back. Overall a 10 out of 10 stay, we would definitely choose again!
We had a fantastic time. House is lovely, steep steps had me concerned, but proved to NOT be an issue for anyone aged 2-62. Bathrooms were modern and sparkling. Kitchen had everything we needed. We felt at home, and we walked to everything we wanted to do except the fireworks, but that was our choice. We did so much and still rested and relaxed as a family.
Hosts were in constant contact and made the whole process easy.
We would definitely return! We agreed it was the best family vacation!!!
Slightly mixed - very nice property, location was great and within walking distance to football stadium; well appointed, comfy beds, quality linen and towels; great set-up with each room having their own in suites bathrooms. Just was great with communication making the check-in very easy… only knock and could have been a one-off, but the property could have been a bit cleaner. Floors and dishes could have used more attention. Despite this, would still book this property again, but as I rely on these reviews when selecting properties, thought I should be honest.
Nice place to stay when visiting Pittsburgh. Easily walkable to several local attractions. Would definitely consider staying again if and when ever coming back to Pittsburgh.
The place was exactly as advertised and was perfect for what we needed. We are a family of five with 3 kids. We were in town for a week for a series of sports events for the kids. The neighborhood was fine (for being so close to a city)... had a public pool less than a mile away that we used one of the days, and a full-size Giant/Eagle grocery store less than a mile away as well. Easy access to downtown (5 min drive or a little over a mile walk).
We were there during a fairly nasty heat wave (90-95 almost every day), and the central air had no problem keeping the house nice and cool. Everything was newly renovated. I have one minor complaint (very minor... I still give this place five stars in every category and would definitely stay there again). And that is, for some odd reason, the bathroom sink of the master bedroom has one of those motion detectors on the sink in order to turn the water on. I found this bizarre... felt like I was trying to brush my teeth in an airport bathroom. Question: If you trust me with every other water source in the house not having a sensor (kitchen sink, showers, etc), why must I keep waving my hand in front of the bathroom sink in order to activate and re-activate it? Seems like a strange choice to conserve water only in this one location. But again, this is a very minor concern. It wouldn't cross my mind to let this one tiny issue keep me from booking this place, and I would strongly recommend it to any family.
