The location is perfect for visiting beaches and Rincon's Central Plaza. The house is a short (5 minute) walk to Black Eagle beach. This beach is calm and clear. There are plenty of food choices nearby. The house is clean, and the neighborhood felt safe. Our family of four (2 teens, my husband, and I ) really enjoyed our vacation. Darlene, the house owner, was wonderful to work with. Our flight home was cancelled due to federal airspace closure, and she allowed us to stay a few extra days until we could get a new flight home. We really appreciated this. I highly recommend this property!

We loved our stay here! Darlene was a wonderful communicator. The location was perfect...just a short walk to a beautiful beach. The use of beach chairs, a cooler, and boogie boards was so helpful. We can't wait to visit again!

Perfect vacation house - Super easy communications from the time of booking straight through the check out. House was cozy and had everything could need for a getaway week. Easy walking to beaches and restaurants. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic Stay

Great location and easy walk to town for shopping and restaurants as well as the beach. Very close by car to other surfing beaches and a larger grocery store. Beds were comfortable and plenty of towels for shower and the beach. It was nice to be able to do laundry there as we stayed for almost 2 weeks. It was also easy to reach the owner when we needed.

Great place to stay in Rincon

It was a perfect place for our family of five (2 parents & 3 kids) to stay and enjoy Rincon. We could walk to the beach and we were a couple minutes from central Rincon (where great restaurants, shopping, and an art/music/open-air market happens every Thursday evening). The house was clean and well kept, and the owner was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location!!

The house could use some updates but it is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood within walking distance to everything. I mean everything you need: 5 minutes to the beach, coffee shop, breakfast place, bar and 15 minutes to Rincon Plaza. It was nice not to use the car every single day and enjoy what Rincon has to offer.

The location of the property is perfect for those who want to hang out at the beach during the day and relax in the evenings. There’s a great coffee shop a 2 minute walk away and you can walk to the marina in about 10 minutes as well. It’s also close proximity to the Pueblo along with Tres Palmas, Steps Beach, and Sandy Beach. Darlene, the host, is responsive and pleasant to communicate with. Check in and check out were easy as well.

Family Vaycay in Rincon

The house was in a great location, there were bath and beach towels galore, washer and dryer, and plenty of beach chairs for us in the garage. Three teenagers and two adults got along just fine with everything we needed. The tub was clogged a little upon our arrival, we had a solution and all fixed within a couple of hours thanks to the receptiveness of the owner. Many thanks!

The townhouse was in a nice location. Walking distance to a great beach and Rincon’s center of town. The place had everything we needed. The upstairs sink didn’t work well, but it was fine we just used the downstairs and the upstairs toilet ran, so we turned it off when not using it. The windows didn’t have glass, just metal crank outs and screens, so you could hear the birds, frogs and neighbors must of the night. Got some getting use to because I like silence, but after awhile I enjoyed hearing the nature.

This place was perfect for us. The rooms were a good size and everything was in order. Plenty of linens, cooking utensils, space, and leftover items to make it comfortable like home. We were able to cook and grill and save money rather than eating out as much. The beach was incredible for a sunset everyday and perfect for swimming all day. There is a Harbor bar to grab a bite or beer right down the street and local venders on the corner that provide excellent eats for cheap. The bar had good music. We were able to use the surfboards and had one of our own, so we didn't have to travel with any. Surf spots were all very accessible by car from the rental and it was nice to be able to walk to the local beach and swim after. The neighbors were very nice and neighborhood was colorful and safe as well. The Thursday night market and the Sunday morning markets are a must see and do. And they are just a short walk from the house to the downtown area where there are shops, bars, and great eateries. Also was a plus to have a 2 minute drive to the Supermarket and Bakery. The hot meals at the Bakery are a must!!!! Cheap and on point. We will be back again. And we all appreciate the great hospilatily that Darlene offered us. She was very responsive and helpful. Don't miss out on the rental, but save us a 2 week slot!

The house was just like the pictures. No surprises which is always nice. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and the neighbors are awesome!! Very kind and informative about the area. Tou can walk to the beach by going around the backside of the complex and down a short path. It is beautiful! The only change that I would make is to get some mattress toppers for the beds as they are hard. The room with the twin beds are very thin. I would definitely stay here again!!

A winter escape to a Caribbean paradise

We had an amazing family vacation! Located in a quiet residential area, the place is close to wonderful beaches, restaurants and major Rincon’s attractions. Great for families who want to stay in a quiet environment and enjoy sandy beaches, warm ocean with its marine life. The place is clean and the landlord is very responsive!

Why they chose this property

My husband, Scott, and I took our first trip to Rincon back in the 80s with a bunch of friends. The guys all surfed and they picked Rincon because of the surfing beaches. Everyone fell in love with Rincon. After we got married, we took a few more trips with our small children and fell more in love. In 2004, we decided to buy a place that would meet our needs for a family vacation home. This place was just what we were looking for as our home away from home :)
