Stunning view of the lake. Beds as comfortable as one could ask for and all in party agreed. Lots of things to explore in the area, especially nearby trails.Missed good weather days, but house was a pleasant way to wait out the rain. Friends and lots of board games on site made that easy. We left a Bocce ball set for future visitors who are luckier with September's fickle weather. Communication with host was perfect. Appreciate the many small touches that made our stay memorable.

Relaxing family getaway

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at your lovely lakefront home! The home was very clean, cozy and comfortable with such amazing lake views. Meals were a breeze between the well-stocked kitchen and the grill outside. We especially enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddleboards and spent most of our time outside on the deck. Check-in and check out was so easy, we would love to come back!

The house was really quaint and the deck and grounds were great. We would book here again. The only thing we would suggest is to update the description and welcome document as some things are outdated (no kayak covers, only one floaty, no paddle for paddle boards). We do realize it is halfway through the summer and things happen and change each week. This isn't a complaint! Just noting you may need to run and get your own or bring with you. A HUGE shout out to the wonderful family that keeps the motorboat on the property. They were so friendly and respectful and their kids are the best! :-)

Really would have appreciated a text or message re the issue when you were there. We could have solved it immediately for you. Covers for the kayaks and paddles are all in the shed and were confirmed the day you left as the next guests after you enjoyed them all weekend long. A little courtesy text and we could have helped. Give us a chance to make it right before giving a 4 star review. We strive for 5 stars every time and would have appreciated the opportunity to fix it, which we would have, even if we had to being you another paddle.

Loved the old world charm combined with comfortable modern conveniences. Excellent location on the lake that offers good swimming and views. The kayaks and paddle boards were a big plus as were the yard games and extra refrigerator. My family, who lives in the area, came for a barbecue. The parking and spaciousness of the yard worked well. The property is an easy ride to local attractions and wonderful morning walks. Host was very responsive and positive. We will for sure come back and stay again. This property is a true gem!

We had a wonderful vacation at Newton Lake! We are formally from Scranton, and it was so nice to have our siblings come to visit. The grandkids loved the kayaks and paddleboards. They spent hours in the lake every day. The cottage was very nice and there was plenty of space for everyone. The extra fridge was a great plus. Our only suggestion is to have a switch for the spotlight so that we could turn it on at night. It was a struggle walking up to the house in the dark.
