Built in 1912, this quirky quant cottage is centrally located in OOB, walk in minutes to Palace Play Land, Maine street or the beach pier. Explore the beautiful Maine coast of Kennebunkport to the south(30mins) or Portland to the north (30mins). Love to see lighthouses? Portland Headlight & Cape Elizabeth Lighthouse are a short scenic drive away. Love lobster? There are many local lobster fisherman in the area selling these delicious treats. Bring some back to the cottage and enjoy preparing them yourself.

Perfect getaway

Perfect little cottage! The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with easy access to boardwalk and beach. The hosts were absolutely incredible people. The check in and check out process was perfect as well as communication with the host. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect place in OOB

A lovely place for a beach vacation. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants yet in a very quiet neighborhood. The cottage is quaint and very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Bea and Jack are wonderful hosts.

Great time

We had a great time at our house. Jack and Bea lived next door and were very helpful for questions about the area. The house is your typical beach house. It was cozy and very clean and cool with the air conditioners. All attractions were within walking distance (10-15) mins. I would defiantly stay there again.

cute cottage, close to beach, great owners next door

We had a lovely time at the cottage. The cottage is an easy 10 mins walk to the old orchard beach (via atlantic blvd). Such a beautiful, scenic beach. The owners, Jack and Bea, next door were our go-to people for all kinds of suggestions and their hospitality and willingness to help will be fondly remembered for a long time. The cottage itself had everything we needed for a happy stay. Many tiny details in the cottage made our stay very pleasant. They had extra towels, detailed instructions in a folder, fully stocked kitchen (some jelly and butter samplers too:) and trash cans in every room, which we very much appreciated. LOVED our stay and LOVED the people- thank you for making our Maine trip a memorable one!

OOB 2024!!!

I was initially drawn to the cottage’s charming exterior, The living room had a quaint, rustic feel with welcoming character. The air conditioning provided some good relief during warmer days. The kitchen was spacious, featuring a large table and ample seating. it’s clear that the kitchen has the foundation for being a great space to create some lasting memories.. One of the cottage’s strengths is the porch, which offered a delightful spot to enjoy cool evenings. The bug-proof screens were a nice touch, adding to the comfort of the outdoor space. The upstairs bedrooms have unique features, including slanted ceilings that add a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere. While navigating the narrow stairs with luggage can be a bit of a challenge, the charm of the bedrooms is apparent. The cottage's overall character, with its uneven floors and slanted doors, gives it a distinct, cabin like feel. For those seeking a quaint and character-filled getaway, this cottage has a lot of potential for a truly charming escape.
