Beautiful place to stay. I was in the area for work and wanted someplace to relax and enjoy my days off as well. Place was very clean very comfortable. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Caught walleye and smallmouth fishing from the dock in the evenings. Will definitely be coming back in the future.
We really enjoyed the cabin, the lake, and the location. Amenities in cabin are great. Host was very quick to respond when we had a question both before and during our stay. Location is perfect - lake was not too busy and there are great restaurants nearby. JB’s was our favorite for dinner.
This cabin was a little piece of heaven. I was a bit leery from the outside of the building but the inside was gorgeous. Everything was clean and organized. It had an airy clean feel and not that damp cabin-ey smell. It was a solo trip for me so obviously lots of space to spread out. I could see being comfortable with a family at the cabin. The loft was my favorite part- one of those large bean bag chairs and a big comfortable couch that were perfect for naps! I used the table for a 1000 piece puzzle and it was more than enough room The bathroom was a good size and stocked with TP (nothing worse than realizing you were under prepared in that situation), it was nice not having to haul shampoo and body wash. The kitchen was stocked well. Denise, the host, stated they have a keurig on site and that I needed to bring my own kcups- done! I was also warned before hand to get stuff in town as the cabin was 30 minutes out. The drive was beautiful! Just don't forget NOT to turn off GPS- you won't get ANY service for miles. The lake was a bit of a jaunt but a great time to enjoy the site. You get a great view from the cabin.I was going to go kayaking but a family of geese decided to stay that day (don't forget a life jacket if you need one!). It was more fun watching the babies.Overall- it was the perfect place for a night shift nurse to reset. It was peaceful**don't forget your mosquito spray!
We enjoyed our stay we golfed at Barkers golf course and fished right there at Moose lake although the fishing was not great for us we absolutely enjoyed the time we spent there. We took our little dog and he was very comfortable there too he enjoyed alot of new smells as we took our walks.

Such a beautiful, quaint little cabin! Views from the porch were amazing. Awesome having your morning cup of coffee on the porch or evening beer as you look at over the water. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful and overall beautiful relaxing place this is definitely the place to stay. We stayed here October 10-13, 2024 and the colors in the area were fantastic, couldn't ask for a better weekend.

There is not one thing about this property that I would do to improve it. The hosts have thought it out and provide for all instances. We had everything we needed to have a great family weekend. We all agree this will be our choice of places to stay when we are in the area again. Very, very pleased.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. Kayaks were so much fun. Cabin was nice and had everything we needed. Hosts are spot on with amenities they provided. Hosts also were very helpful and responsive. Lake is nice and peaceful. Saw lots of wildlife. Also perfect distance from tourist stuff, not to far away but far enough to enjoy the not crowded lake. Only thing I’d caution is this area of the lake is shallow and rocky so not great for swimming. But kayaks and paddle board launched easy from the pier.
It’s a very nice cabin very well maintained by the owners. We loved how they set everything up in there. We hung out in all areas. We watched a movie in the loft and played board games on a rainy day. We caught 19 walleyes, 2 bass, a northern and a crappie. We rented a boat for 2 days right next door at the mystic moose resort. Location was great, very peaceful with a view of the river that connects to the lake right out the front door. We saw a ton of deer, and a fox! We utilized the grill as well and made steaks and brats. When we weren’t at the cabin we were out trying all the local bars (JB’s Moose Lake Shack, was the best), breakfast places (Robins Nest, was the best), and even a winery (Tamarack Farms). It is the perfect up north escape. It’s a true cabin town we loved it and hope to get back to someday.
