Castle on Brevort strives to be the highest quality lakeside experience in the UP. We offer 5 star wine and hors d'oeuvres welcome followed by an orientation to our wide range of sporting amenities. The Castle is a unique architecture with high end finishes, vaulted twin master suites opening to the wide balcony with fabulous lake views. If you are not water sports oriented the Castle is probably not for you ! Sailing , SUP, kayaking windsurfing, waverunning are all available. Only 7 days 2021
The space
The upstairs has twin vaulted masters ensuite, with a king bed on E and queen on W .Step out through French doors to enjoy the artistic deck overlooking the tranquil beauty of Brevort. Enjoy your gourmet freshly ground coffee from the deck or step across to your private rack of kayaks , windsurfers and SUP ( stand up paddle board ). Try an early morning paddle
through the dawn mist to the delightful sounds of the loons.The upstairs common area has a computer nook with 36" monitor and wifi plus 55" HDTV and blue ray.
The custom handcrafted stair railing features cedar posts and diamond willow newels and handrail. The down stairs has 9' ceiling and a 32' x 26' great room/ kitchen with 10' granite island. A custom breakfast nook wows with 7' octagon built in table mounted on triple cedar trunk base. A reading/ sipping area on the west overlooks the lake with comfortable reclining arm chairs and a vaulted 12' polygon dome.
Their is also a 10' x 20' roughly finished ( cedar and sheetrock walls, open ceiling) bunkhouse 4' from rear door with 5 beds in 2 stacks sleeping up to 8 kids, No AC or heat, 40" HDTV/ blue ray.
On arrival all guests receive an orientation to the property , the available water sports and wine , cheese and hors d'ouvres.
Total mattresses in house 5 plus 2 loft foam mattresses; bunk house -5 mattresses.
Guest access
The Castle is located on 1 acre with 160 ft of shoreline. Swim platform is located off shore in 4 ' of water. The large yard is great for bocce ball, croquet and frisbee, all of which are provided.
