Cozy, scenic cabin located on a tranquil hill while also right above the hustle and bustle of the Guadalupe River, Whitewater Amphitheater, and tubing on the Horseshoe. A three-mile drive down a country road--well above any flood concerns--earns you a nature environment with wild life and your own private, peaceful space.

Relax in this spacious, pet friendly getaway central to Gruene, New Braunfels, Wimberley, San Marcos, and Canyon Lake areas. Ample bed space for 6--or 8 total guests with 2 on air mattresses--no extra charge for house max.


The space
Three bedrooms, (primary and second bedroom have blackout curtains for your napping pleasure) two full baths, kitchen with double oven, full living/family room with a smart TV, 2 separate dining areas (second area can be used as dedicated work space), laundry, second refrigerator, and strong, high-speed WiFi and pets allowed with small extra fee.

While close to area attractions as described--this property is located in a country neighborhood with your own private yard, long driveway, and parking. Perfect for groups just craving a needed get away, relaxing river or lake time, a home base for exploring the hill country area, or simply attending concerts at Whitewater.

If your gathering requires a "close to everything," spot--while at the same time enjoying a more Zen, peaceful, and spacious place to relax and unwind with family and/or friends—then Eden's Vista Cordova is for you!

Five stair steps from parking will take you to two large, inviting decks to enjoy your morning and evening times viewing the wild life--deer, foxes, birds—and simply savoring the natural area.

There are no other stairs to navigate in this single-level home after the initial entry five steps to your very own vacation porches and home-base retreat.

San Antonio is approximately a 45-minute drive, Fredericksburg is about an hour's drive, and Austin will run about one hour and 15 minutes--depending on the day's traffic.

The home was very comfortable and quite cozy. It was extremely neat, orderly and clean. The environment was wonderful; out in the country with a view out into the valley. There were a lot of trees. Watched birds in the feeder from the deck and the deer that came into the yard in the morning and at dusk. The kitchen was well equipped with everything imaginable. We used the outdoor charcoal grill and enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. The location was great for day trips to local wineries, San Marcos and Wimberley shopping. The deck had gates so we were able to let our dog out and roam around on the deck. Our visit to Wimberley was simply fantastic and primarily due to our stay at Eden's Vista Cordova.

Peaceful retreat!

If you’re looking for a place to relax and truly unwind then this is the place!Beautiful scenery, and a very comfortable place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, just obey the speed limits once off the main road because of the wildlife, and people of course!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Nothing but great things to say about this property! Super clean, super cute house with amazing views! Plenty of room for our family and dogs. Easy drive to San Marcos or Wimberley. We rented the house for TXST family weekend. It was a nice getaway from the busy campus. The owners were very accommodating and had excellent communication. We will definitely stay here again when we visit our daughter.

Beautifully Peaceful

Our stay in Vista Cordova was excellent in every way! The host, Jo Lynn, was super nice and helpful and communicated very thoroughly, which we loved! The house was very clean and peaceful with plenty of room to spread out, and the outdoor scenery was absolutely beautiful. The deck was a perfect place to enjoy dinner as the sun was setting. During our stay, we had the opportunity to see 7 deer and 2 foxes. We loved that everything was labeled for ease of use, simple directions were given regarding both our drive there and our stay, and the arrival and departure process was easy. It was relatively quiet, which is exactly what we were going for. I would very highly recommend the Vista Cordova! Thank you, Jo Lynn, for your care and attention during our stay!!

Canyon Lake Home

Beautiful Texas Hill Country property that offers breathtaking views high above the Guadalupe River Valley and the community of Sattler in Comal County. The home is nestled among lots of trees and limestone providing the perfect outdoor setting. Plenty of deer visit the property throughout the day. Outdoor fire pit with chairs provided as well as a barbecue pit under the outdoor string lights. Nice covered front porch that spans the length of the home and even on the side. It was a wonderful stay in a charming 3bedroom 2 bathroom home with lots of space to gather. Lots of windows that open up to the outdoor vistas. I would definitely recommend!

Vista Cordova

This place was great and we would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and on a no-outlet road with virtually no traffic. The property was very quiet and private. There is a next door neighbor not far off, but due to the orientation of the house, you would never notice it. Check-in/out process was easy and good communication from the host. The place was clean. A lot of effort has been put in to make things easy, from a personalized code for the locks to a well-equipped kitchen with all the cupboards and drawers conveniently labeled. They had everything we needed for cooking, coffee, campfire, towels, bedding, etc. there wasn’t anything that we wanted that wasn’t available. Great wildlife viewing from the front patio with deer, birds, squirrels, and a brief visit from a gray fox. Bird and deer feeders had the animals constantly active around the property. Overall, this is a great place - highly recommended.

Willie at Whitewater Weekend

My girlfriend and I took our (2) kids (11 and 15) to see Willie Nelson at Whitewater Amphitheater. Wes and Jo Lynn's home was a perfect choice. It's a fantastic location with a beautiful quiet location surrounded by nature. The house itself is larger than it seems in the pictures and the wrap around balcony is amazing! We loved watching all the wildlife on the property- TONS of deer and a grey fox! Jo Lynn was SUPER easy to work with answering all of our questions and providing lots of great local recommendations. I've stayed at a lot of rental homes and I've never seen a host make it so easy- we love the way everything was labeled in the kitchen. Our welcome guide was even personalized with our names when we arrived! Has everything you need including comfortable beds, soap and shampoo in the shower, an incredible fire pit and even ingredients for smores! This place is a gem and I couldn't recommend it enough. I would definitely stay here again.

We came from living our lives on Galveston Bay. We lived there our entire married life and retired from successful careers before moving to the hills. I worked at a local community college and Wes at a huge refinery as well as raising our family there.

Why they chose this property

The beautiful hill country views and abundant wild life sold us on a dream to move here almost 25 years ago. The dream became our reality, and we now enjoy living close by to the rental property.
