The place was great and the hosts were easy to work with. I wouldn’t have minded some more privacy around the porch and some lights on the stairs leading down into the kitchen.

Carol and Don were excellent hosts. The microwave quit working and they had a new one installed in less than 24 hours. They asked if we needed anything, providing clean towels when requested. The house was clean.

The house is up on the side of an Ozark mountain just about a block off the train track. Winding narrow road up the hill to the house. The train seems to come through after bedtime with thorough horn blowing. The place is on multiple levels with quaint old cabin like charm. The bedroom is very roomy with a jetted tub in the room. Very comfortable place. The bed was very comfortable. Parking is on the side of the road.

We had such a wonderful weekend getaway! The property was peaceful, relaxing, and wonderfully secluded, though the landing was minutes away! The views were absolutely beautiful and added to the serene atmosphere. The sunrise I experienced was indescribable!Everything about our stay was comfortable and inviting, and we truly enjoyed the quiet and privacy. It was exactly the kind of relaxing retreat we were looking for. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful views!

Great getaway with a view 😎

This property is very cozy and great for a couple that want to get away. Downtown Hollister and Branson landing are very close. The bedroom is upstairs from the living area and is very quaint.

Great stay for birthday weekend

We came to stay for my husband’s birthday weekend. This spot was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening. The road was somewhat steep and parking a little tricky with a full size truck. The view was worth it. Great stay.

We had a nice stay at this cute little cabin. Host was very prompt and accommodating. We loved the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. There were juts a few areas in bathroom that could have been better cleaned but nothing that would prevent from staying there. We are pretty private people so we didn’t realize there were so many other properties close by, in particular the house next door that looks over the hot tub. We never really seen anyone but a couple times so it wasn’t like they were in our business at all. Seemed like people really kept to themselves. Parking was quite interesting but made it work. We have a truck so we just had to move before you could get in and out of the passenger door due to having to park so close to edge. All in all it was a great location and nice weekend getaway!

Stunning Views for Engagement Getaway

10/10!!! We had a wonderful time! The views were amazing! The cottage was clean and well kept. Easy check in process! The roads are pretty steep and parking is on the street which is pretty narrow, but we had no issues in a Corolla. There is also a main home on the lot property which can also be rented, so extra family and friends would have a place to stay next door. There are many stairs in the house, but we loved the set up of the house. Again the views are absolutely stunning!! 5 minutes to The Landing

Mostly perfect

Great views very quaint. A little quirks like it said load the dishwasher there was not one, The hot tub was a little too full so it seemed to overflow when we got in and we are small people. The jets did not seem to function properly and the jacuzzi tub would not hold water due to the seal on the plug. It was very clean easy check in process and and no fuss to deal with.

Overall, the stay was just okay. It was a good location for a decent price, and nothing we couldn’t survive for a weekend. However, the hot tub smelled of stagnant water, there were rodent droppings in the kitchen drawer, and it just overall didn’t feel clean. I went to bed clean, and woke up feeling dirty. The blanket in the living room was covered in dog hair. I wished there was a laundry room in the house so I could wash the bedding and blanket so we could feel clean while we were there.
